Hello aspirant,
NIT Kurukshetra JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for SC category candidates varies depending on the branch and quota (Home State or Other State). However, based on the previous year's trends, you can expect a cutoff in the range of 300-500 marks for SC female candidates from Haryana to get admission to NIT Kurukshetra.
It's important to note that the actual cutoff may vary depending on several factors, including the difficulty level of the JEE Main exam, the number of applicants, and the number of seats available.
Therefore, it's advisable to aim for a higher score to increase your chances of securing a seat in your desired branch.
I hope this information helps.
Hello,
A rank between 30,000 to 50,000 in category rank would stand an SC female candidate good for some scope at NIT Kurukshetra for Mechanical Engineering through JEE 2025. Admissions would depend significantly on the cutoffs released every year.
In terms of marks, this translates to around a score of 120-150 in JEE Main. Again, this too depends on multiple factors such as how challenging the paper is, how much seat availability, and the extent of applicants. Since the cutoff keeps changing every year, one should target higher and not less; score 150+ for maximal chances of getting your desired branch and institute.
A score of 150 marks in JEE Main which is rank between 15 k to 20 k is might not be a good score enough to get you a seat in NIT Kurukshetra for Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical engineering as an SC female student from Punjab, but it's not sure and depends heavily on the overall cut-off that year; you should aim for a higher score to secure your desired branch.
You need atleast under rank 10k to get admission in nit kurukshetra mechanica, electrical branch.however you may get other branches like planning and architecture.participate in counselling process wait till the last rounds you will definitely get your preferred seat.
BEST of luck...
Hello student,
As an SC female candidate from another state aiming for the Mechanical Engineering branch at NIT Kurukshetra through JEE Mains 2025, you would generally need a percentile around 80-85% or higher. However, this can vary based on the difficulty level of the exam and seat availability. To maximize your chances, it's advisable to aim for a JEE Mains score of 120+ to stay competitive.
It's important to note that cutoffs can change each year, so staying updated with the official announcements from JoSAA counseling will give you a clearer picture closer to the admission process.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
Hy,
With a CRL rank of 3,20,000 and belonging to the SC category , your chances of securing admission to NIT Kurukshetra through CSAB (Central Seat Allocation Board) counseling are quite slim. Here are a few key points to consider:
Previous Year Cutoffs : The cutoffs for admission to NITs vary each year based on the number of applicants and their ranks. For NIT Kurukshetra, the cutoffs for various branches, including Computer Science, have generally been significantly lower than your current rank. For instance, last year's closing rank for the Computer Science branch was much higher than 3,20,000 for SC category candidates.
Reservation Policies : While being in the SC category can improve your chances, the overall competition for popular branches like Computer Science is very high, and cutoffs are usually much lower.
Seat Availability : NITs have limited seats, and the number of applicants can greatly affect the cutoffs. Since the demand for Computer Science is high, it’s likely that the cutoffs will remain competitive.
