JEMAT 2019 - West Bengal government conducted the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) under the administration of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) on June 2, 2019. The result of JEMAT 2019 has been declared on June 18 and the group discussion and personal interview will take place on June 24. The application form of JEMAT 2019 was released on May 8 and the end date for filling it was May 26. Candidates who wished to apply for the exam could fill the application form online. JEMAT 2019 was held in offline (paper-pencil based) mode. The JEMAT is a state-level MBA entrance test conducted for admissions to MBA/MHA programmes offered by the Private and Government colleges in West Bengal. Candidates with graduation in Humanities/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental or in the final year of graduation are eligible to apply for the JEMAT 2019 exam. JEMAT Result 2019
The result of JEMAT 2019 was declared on June 18, 2019. Previously the result was to be announced on June 10. The same was available on the official website. Test takers who obtain the minimum scores/marks will qualify for the further rounds of the selection including Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The selection rounds will be conducted on June 24. The list of shortlisted candidates has been published on the official website. More than 300 candidates would be attending the counselling process.

JEMAT Counselling 2019
JEMAT 2019 counselling procedure will be conducted by MAKAUT. The counselling procedure commences after the JEMAT qualified candidates appear for GD and PI. The GD/PI rounds will successfully be conducted in the second week of June 2019. On the scores obtained in the GD-PI rounds, candidates will be shortlisted for the JEMAT 2019 counselling process. Shortlisted candidates will have to make the payment of counselling fee on the official website.

JEMAT Answer Key 2019
JEMAT 2019 answer key will be released by the examination authority after the exam is conducted. There is no specific date for the answer key release. Using this answer key, the test takers would be able to check their estimated score in the exam. The answer key will be published only by official authority as well as by educational experts from various MBA coaching institutes.

JEMAT Admit Card 2019
JEMAT 2019 admit card was released on May 28 2019. Candidates would be able to download the same from the official website of the exam. The candidates would need to carry the admit card in order to enter the examination hall. Only candidates who successfully register for the exam and pay the application fee will be issued the hall ticket/admit card of JEMAT 2019.

JEMAT Exam Pattern 2019
As per the exam pattern of JEMAT 2019, it will be an objective type test carrying three sections. The duration of the test will be two hours. Following are the fast facts about the JEMAT 2019 exam pattern:-

  • Mode of Exam - Pen and Paper mode (Offline)

  • Duration of the exam - Two Hours (120 minutes)

  • Total Number of questions - 100

  • Type of questions - Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

  • Marking Scheme - 1 mark for each correct answer and 0.25 marks would be deducted for every incorrect answer

JEMAT Eligibility Criteria 2019
Candidates need to fulfil the eligibility criteria of JEMAT 2019 in order to apply for the exam. Candidates must have a Graduation degree in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/Agriculture or other professional courses from recognized university. The candidates who expect their graduation results by September of a given year may also register for JEMAT examination.

  • Graduation in any discipline (minimum three-year duration) from any recognised university/institute.

  • Candidates who have completed any of the professional programmes from any recognized university are also eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

  • Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for JEMAT 2019 exam.

JEMAT Application Form 2019
The eligible aspirants need to register and duly fill the JEMAT 2019 application form which was available from May 8 and the deadline for filling the application form was May 26, 2019. In the application form, candidates need to provide all the details including Candidate’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, whether person with Disability, Written test centre, educational Qualification, E-mail ID, Mobile Number, Communication Address, Declaration, etc. On submission, applicants would be prompted to check the details and do the needful corrections, if any, and finally, submit the JEMAT 2019 application form.

Photo and signature verification: The image file of both photo and signature should be uploaded in the JPG or JPEG format. There will be two different options for uploading the photo and signature of the aspiring test taker. Candidates will have to click on “Upload Photograph and Signature.”

Application Fee
Candidates can pay the application fee online (via Netbanking/Debit card/Credit card). Apart from the online payment, candidates can also pay through Cash Challan through Corporation Bank and forwarded the receipt by post to MAKAUTWB before the application deadline. However, Cheques, Money orders, Postal orders, Banker’s cheques, and Demand Drafts will not be accepted towards the application fee. After making the payment, candidates will receive the online Payment Slip. Candidates are advised to keep the receipt safe for further reference.

How to apply for JEMAT 2019?
Candidates would be able to fill the online JEMAT 2019 application form on the official website or they can simply take the printout of the application form, fill it and send it to the University along with required documents and a demand draft. If applying online, candidates would be asked to upload the scanned copy of their passport size photograph and signature in the specified format. After submitting the online application form of JEMAT 2019, candidates should take a print of the filled-in form and attest it with other relevant documents.

  • Marksheets (self-attested)

  • Certificates and other testimonials

  • Caste certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC) candidates.
