The minimum qualifying requirement for enrollment is a three-year bachelor's degree with at least 50% or comparable grades. After finishing upper secondary schooling, the applicant must acquire a bachelor’s degree or an equal certification that requires a minimum of three years of schooling. If the applicants are granted grades/CGPA instead of credits, the equivalent will be based on the equivalency verified by the university/institution where they received their bachelor's degree. There’s no age limit for completing an MBA or sit for the CAT exam. Students in their last year of college who have no arrears on their mark card are eligible to apply. If a candidate's degree result is less than 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWT applicants), he or she is unable to apply for the CAT.

- Applicants interested in gaining admittance to top MBA programs should enroll for and register for the applicable MBA entrance test, such as CAT/XAT/IIFT/NMAT/SNAP, within the application period.
- Those who wish to pursue a management education PGDM/MBA program at a top MBA college must take the CAT, XAT, NMAT, or another comparable admission test.
- Following the announcement of MBA test results in January, most major B-schools would shortlist potential applicants for the final entrance process based on test scores, grades, variety, job experience, and other factors as determined by the particular B-school admittance criteria and weightages. Both GMAT and CAT exams are considered to be highly competitive. Therefore, it is difficult to measure which one is harder than the other as it depends on the individual strengths ,weaknesses, and personal preferences.
GMAT quant section is often considered to be easier, however, its verbal section is tougher for non-native English speakers. Whereas, CAT quant section is considered to be trickier in comparison to the verbal section. Therefore, students are advised to analyse both CAT and GMAT exam pattern carefully before opting for one.

Generally admissions are given based on your rank. So based on your overall percentile in JEE your rank could be between 56470 - 63480 approximately.
Unfortunately, Based on the marks you scored, it will be difficult to get admitted into NIT Trichy under OBC category. However there is also a second chance for you to attend for JEE, so I recommend you to take that chance and score better.
