Saloni Chajjer: I am originally from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

Saloni Chajjer: I am enrolled in the Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) at IBS Mumbai.
Careers360: Did you face any challenges during your initial months at the institute?
Saloni Chajjer: Adjusting to Mumbai was initially challenging, but as I got familiar with the city and formed friendships at IBS Mumbai, it turned into a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
Careers360: What activities does the institute offer? Are there any clubs? Which ones are you a part of?
Saloni Chajjer: IBS Mumbai organises activities like seminars, guest lectures, and club newsletters that enhance our skills and provide industry exposure. I am part of Marketing 360°, a club that aligns with my passion for marketing and my career aspirations in this field.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute.
Saloni Chajjer: My mornings begin with lectures, followed by breaks spent catching up with friends. Afternoons often involve club activities, and I spend my evenings relaxing, finishing assignments, or socializing.

Careers360: What is the faculty-student ratio, and how is the teacher-student relationship?
Saloni Chajjer: The faculty is approachable, and the classes are well-structured. They make learning interactive and engaging.
Careers360: What facilities are available on campus? What is your favorite spot?
Saloni Chajjer: IBS Mumbai facilities feature a gym, Bloomberg Lab, SAP Lab, and LED screens showcasing the latest news and events. My favorite spot is the library, which offers a quiet space for study and relaxation.
Careers360: How are the hostels, and what about cleanliness?
Saloni Chajjer: While the institute doesn’t have hostels, there are ample PG accommodations nearby. The campus itself is clean and well maintained, creating a welcoming environment.
Careers360: What about medical facilities? Are emergencies handled effectively?
Saloni Chajjer: First aid is available on campus, and clinics and a large hospital are located nearby, ensuring quick access to medical care.
Careers360: How do you balance studies, projects, exams, and extracurricular activities?
Saloni Chajjer: I stay organised by prioritising tasks and maintaining a balanced schedule, which helps me manage everything effectively.

Saloni Chajjer: Yes, there are newsletters and magazines published by different clubs. I particularly enjoy reading Panorama by my club and the campus magazine, Manthan.

Saloni Chajjer: On campus, students love the first-floor canteen and the sixth floor. Off-campus, the Galleria and RCity Mall are popular hangout spots.
