Careers360: Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?
C. Rakesh: My name is Chokkala Rakesh, and I am from Nirmal, Telangana. I come from a simple and supportive family. I’ve always been interested in business and management, and I like being involved in activities where I can learn and lead.
Careers360: Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?
C. Rakesh: I am currently pursuing BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and I’m in my 2nd year at GIBS Business School. I chose this course because I’m genuinely interested in business and want to build my career in this field.
Careers360: Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined the institute?
C. Rakesh: To be honest, I didn’t face any major difficulties. The environment here is quite friendly, and people are supportive, which made it easy for me to adjust quickly.
Careers360: What activities are offered in the institute? Are there any clubs etc?
C. Rakesh: There are many activities in the college apart from academics like cultural events, sports, and management events.
I participated in Freshers, IPL Auction Event, Cricket Tournament, Tug of War, and Volleyball. These helped me improve my confidence and teamwork.
Careers360: Describe a typical day at your institute
C. Rakesh: My day starts with attending classes and staying active in learning. After classes, I spend time with friends or engage in sports and event activities. In the evening, I either participate in practice sessions or complete my assignments.
Careers360: Tell us about the faculty-student ratio and relationship
C. Rakesh: The faculty are very approachable and supportive. We can easily interact with them and clear our doubts. They guide us in both academics and personal growth.
Careers360: What all facilities do you have in the campus? What do you like the most?
C. Rakesh: The campus has all necessary facilities like classrooms and activity spaces. What I like most is the balance between academics and extracurricular activities, along with quality education at an affordable fee.
Careers360: How comfortable are your hostels and cleanliness?
C. Rakesh: The hostels are comfortable, and cleanliness is maintained properly, creating a good living environment.
Careers360: What about the medical facilities?
C. Rakesh: Basic medical support is available, and hospitals are nearby for emergencies.
Careers360: How do you balance your studies, projects, exams and other activities?
C. Rakesh: I manage my time properly by setting priorities and planning my tasks. This helps me balance both academics and activities.
Careers360: Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus
C. Rakesh: I am the Head of the BBA Sports Society. I organize sports events like cricket, volleyball, and tug of war. I coordinate with students and manage events smoothly. This improved my leadership, teamwork, and confidence.

C. Rakesh: The college shares updates through social media and internal platforms.
Careers360: What are the popular hangouts at the institute?
C. Rakesh: Students usually spend time in common areas and nearby cafes to relax and interact.

C. Rakesh: I spend my free time with friends, participating in activities, or relaxing.
