Get UpdatesOPENMAT is a national level entrance exam for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses offered at IGNOU. NTA conducts the IGNOU OPENMAT exam twice a year i.e. in July and January. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has conducted the IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 or IGNOU OPENMAT XLIX phase exam on April 11, 2021. IGNOU OPENMAT scores of one session are valid for one year i.e. If the exam is held in July then the same score can be used for January and July (the following year) and, likewise, the OPENMAT exam held in January-February can be used for July and January next year.
NTA has released the IGNOU OPENMAT VIIII result in online mode. Candidates can check the OPENMAT result at the official website, ignou.ac.in, using the credentials including the application number and password. Candidates can opt for admission in any of the cycles as per the score validity.

IGNOU released the eligibility criteria for IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 comprising the parameters which the candidates must meet before they start filling the application form. IGNOU OPENMAT MBA eligibility criteria 2021 includes the academic parameters which the candidates must meet. The academic parameters include the marks which the candidates must score at the graduation level to be eligible to apply for the entrance exam. As per the eligibility criteria of IGNOU OPENMAT 2021, candidates belonging to the general category must have a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree. Whereas, students belonging to reserved category must have aggregate of 45% marks in qualifying degree.

The exam pattern of IGNOU OPENMAT MBA 2021 includes the type of questions that will be asked in the entrance exam, the duration of the exam. IGNOU OPENMAT MBA exam pattern 2021 also include the mode in which the entrance exam will be conducted, the total marking scheme, the total number of questions that will be asked as well as the sections. The next openmat exam that is openmat XLV is going to conduct on February 2022.The application form will start from December 2021 and the last date for filing up the application form is January 2022.
For applying IGNOU OPENMAT 2022 you must meet this eligibility criteria.
You must be graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
Or You must hold professional degree in engineering/medical/law/chartered or cost accountancy(ICAI/ICWAI)/Company Secretary ship (ICSI).
You should have scored at least 50% marks in qualifying exam.
You have to qualify the entrance exam for admission in MBA programme.
There is no age bar to appear in the OPENMAT exam.

The last date of the registration process & the application date for session 2 openmat exam is extended till 31st of August, 2021. So, after the application process gets over for all the candidates, the authorities will release an official date when the session 2 exam of OPENMAT will be conducted. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that mba admission in IGNOU are done through openmat exam and you need to have 55 percent in your bachelors to be eligible for it . Difficulty of mba exam is quite average , you will be easily able to crack it after some prepartion . The exam generally held in april of every year and you need to register online for the exam
