UPESMET UG Exam 2025 - Dates, Registration (Open), Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation Tips

The authorities have released the UPESMET UG 2025 application form at upes.ac.in. The UPESMET-UG application form 2025 is made available in online mode only. The last date to submit the UPES Dehradun application form 2025 has not been announced yet.

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling in the UPESMET-UG exam application form 2025. Candidates must note that candidates who have appeared for UGAT and have scored 60 percentile or above are not required to sit for the UPES MET - UG exam. They will be directly called for the UPES Personal Interview round. 

Candidates must fill out the application form with care and ensure that all the details are mentioned correctly. After filling out the UPESMET-UG application, candidates will be required to make a payment of Rs.1350. Payment can be done in online mode using Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card.

Steps to apply for UPESMET UG 2025 Exam 

The UPESMET-UG application form 2025 is available in online mode at the UPES official website - upes.ac.in. Candidates can easily fill out the application form by following the below-given steps:

Candidates aspiring to take admission in the BBA and integrated program offered by UPES must meet the UPESMET-UG 2025 eligibility criteria. Therefore, aspirants must thoroughly check their eligibility before filling out the UPESMET-UG application form 2025. Candidates failing to meet any criterion laid down by the UPESMET UG 2025 authorities will be disqualified from the admission process.

Students with valid UGAT or CUET scores will not have to sit for the UPESMET-UG exam, they will be directly called for a personal interview round.

Seat Reserved:

Candidates must note that 15% of seats under every program is reserved for the residents of Uttrakhand. These seats will be allotted on the basis of a merit list. The prerequisite condition to secure a reservation under this category is that candidates must produce a "Permanent Residence Certificate", and the candidate must clarify his/her intent to opt for admission under this category while applying for UPES.

University of Petroleum & Energy Studies (UPES) has a pre-defined exam pattern for the UPESMET -UG entrance exam to help students make a proper strategy for D-day. The UPESMET - UG question paper will consist of 120 multiple choice questions and candidates will have to answer them in 1.5 hours (90 minutes). The question paper will be divided into four sections, details of which are given in below table -

Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer, while there will be no negative marking for the unanswered question as well as incorrect answers.

• Go through the UPESMET - UG exam pattern to develop a robust strategy for taking the exam. 
• Look for the best books to prepare for all four sections.
• Solve previous year question papers and mock tests keeping in mind the time duration of the exam.
• You must be familiar with the use of a computer so that there are no last-minute surprises for you. 
• Keep an eye on the ongoing national and international news to perform well in the General Awareness section. 
• It is advisable to cover the news around awards, sports, literature, history, economics etc., for at least the past year.
• Develop a reading habit and be consistent. You can read magazines, books, and editorials; it will help you perform well in the General English section. 
• During the last few days, it is advisable to focus on revision rather than concentrating on learning anything new.

UPES Dehradun will release the UPESMET UG 2025 admit card to all the registered candidates. Aspirants will have to visit the official website and download the online UPESMET UG admit card 2025. The admit card of UPESMET UG 2025 will include various details related to the entrance exam such as date, time, guidelines, allotted exam centre, signature and photograph. 

Steps to download UPESMET UG 2025 Admit Card 

• Visit the UPESMET UG 2025 official website 
• Click on the link to downlaod admit card
• Login using the valid credentials 
• Upon successful login, the UPESMET UG admit card 2025 will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of the same. 

UPES declares the UPESMET-UG result tentatively a week of the examination date. However, the authorities are yet to announce the UPESMET UG 2025 result date. Once declared, candidates will have to visit the official website to download the result of UPESMET UG 2025. Candidates will be notified over the registered email with the UPESMET-UG scorecard along with a link to view the result. Follow the steps below to check UPESMET -UG Result 2025

Post declaration of the UPESMET - UG result, UPES will start the counselling process, the dates for which will be announced on the official website. UPES conducts counselling in an online mode. Candidates will have to appear for the personal interview round as a final phase of selection. Students can easily book their personal interview slots online within the timeline announced by the institute.
