SET BBA Selection Procedure 2019 - Aspirants planning to get admission in any one of the affiliated Symbiosis International(Deemed University) institutions, need to follow the SET BBA 2019 selection procedure. As per the selection procedure of SET BBA 2019, one has to appear for the SET BBA, followed by the institute-specific selection criteria.
The SET BBA selection procedure 2019 is a three-step process. The first is to appear for SET BBA 2019 online exam, which will be conducted on May 4, 2019. The results will be announced on May 14, 2019. The shortlisting process will be on the basis of SET BBA 2019 cutoff. Post shortlisting, selected aspirants are invited for the WAT and PI rounds. SET BBA Selection Procedure 2019
Once SET BBA 2019 results and cutoff is announced, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores and institute specific SET BBA cut off. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated about their PI-WAT schedule and venue by the officials. They will also receive a letter about the shortlist status which will, in turn, become proof of their shortlist and an invitation to the selection rounds. Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test (PI-WAT) will be conducted by the respective institutes for the BBA course in which they are shortlisted. Candidates will have to attend the PI-WAT round on the specified date and location opted by them during the slot booking; else their prospective seat will be cancelled.
What are PI and WAT?
SET BBA 2019 selection procedure will have the following rounds:
Personal Interaction (PI)
Written Ability Test (WAT)
Personal Interaction (PI) – An expert panel from Industries / Academics will interview the shortlisted candidates. The interview might have questions pertaining to topics like communication skills, general awareness, co-curricular activities, and specific field of interest.
Written Ability Test (WAT) - Shortlisted candidates have to appear for a written test which includes one PAT (Picture Association Test) and an essay on a given topic.
Although the selection process remains mostly the same for all the affiliated institutes, it might be a bit different in some of the institutes. Only those candidates who receive the SET BBA 2019 call letters will be allowed to appear for selection rounds. Their candidature will undergo screening for the final selection pertaining to admissions on the basis of their performance in SET BBA Selection Procedure.
Maximum Score – The maximum score applicable for PI-WAT will be 100 marks.
PI-WAT Centres – Aspirants can book their PI-WAT slot on the official website. They can choose the date, time and location according to their convenience. The final admission would be based on the cumulative score of the following-
