Dr Debasis Mallik: Sharda University has started its education sector in Agra and eventually has come to Greater Noida Knowledge Park 3. Sharda University has several departments and schools that include medical schools, engineering, technology, and business. Many students join the Sharda School of Business Studies all around India, and 10-12% of students are from Africa. Sharda School of Business Studies maintains a 1:20 student-faculty ratio. However, Sharda School of Business Studies focuses on curriculum, faculty, and placements to enhance students' learning experience, employability, internships, knowledge, and wisdom.

Careers 360: Could you please share more about the departments at the School of Business, Sharda University? Also, what are the key differentiators of the programmes offered there?
Dr Debasis Mallik: Sharda University offers UG and PG programmes. At the UG level, Sharda School of Business Studies includes BCom and BBA. BBA is offered for the duration of a 3-year and 4-year track as per NEP government regulations and more. BBA specialisations include marketing, finance, analytics, HR, healthcare, and many more. BBA and BCom have collaborations with ACCA.
PG-level programmes include MBA and executive MBA for working professionals. Sharda School of Business Studies also offers a PhD in full-time and part-time modes.

Dr Debasis Mallik: School of Business, Sharda University has incorporated cutting edge courses like design thinking, critical thinking, etiquette, entrepreneurial mindset and customisation of courses, and introduction of new courses. Twice a year, the academic council, board of studies, and faculty board meetings are done. Example: Introduction of a simulation that helps the students in dealing with a real-life situation.
