Hi,
Hope you are doing great.
Yes, you do hold a good chance of getting a call from NITIE. Because if we see the previous year's cut-off, we get to know that the cut-off usually varies from 96-97 percentile. But for shortlisting the candidates for the GDPI process academic performance and diversity( whether it is gender or academic) also come into the picture. So, let's just hope for the best.

Dear aspirant,
As you have secured 86 percentile in cat and considering your education background let me tell you that nitie is one of the top colleges and cracking that is not easy .
Considering you as a general category candidate you need atleast 95+ percentile to crack nitie. However interview will also play a vital role after getting a good percentile in cat.
Dear aspirant,
As you have secured 83 percentile and considering you are from.obc category let me tell you that it's very difficult in this percentile to get a call from nitie because the cut offs are higher.
Generally, for general category atleast 97+ is needed to get a call and for obc atleast 90+ is needed to get a call . Note this is not the cut off but this score is mandatory to get a call from nitie.
However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.
