Students aspiring to take up an online management course at DU SOL have to provide the CUET PG MBA score for admission from the 2025-2026 session. In a recent development, DU SOL (School of Open Learning, DU) has decided to admit students through the CUET-PG scores and merit-based criteria for the upcoming sessions 2025-2026. Therefore, the management aspirants who are willing to take online MBA courses at DU under SOL now have to go through the CUET PG MBA admission process and have to give their CUET PG MBA score. This decision to revise the earlier admission policy, where only the merit-based criteria are involved, came in alignment with the centralised admission process for the regular courses. An online MBA is among the 16 courses that SOL offers at the PG level, including M.Com. However, apart from the CUET PG MBA score, the candidates might get a chance at DU, depending on the availability of the score.

Online MBA: A way forward?

NEP 2020 follows the dual enrollment policies, which allow students to get admitted to one regular course and one online course simultaneously. This flexibility is designed to provide students with more choices and multidisciplinary learning opportunities. In this scenario, anyone interested in management courses or seeking alternative career prospects may consider getting admitted into an online MBA program as an alternative option. For example, those who are undergoing any social science courses and preparing for their master's for their academic endeavours now can easily opt for the MBA program, which is much more of a professional career prospect. Compared to a regular MBA, there are pros and cons to an online MBA. While the post-degree salary might be less compared to the regular MBA courses, the flexibility of the courses can attract interest from teh students. So, looking at the current scenario, an online MBA might be a way forward towards a prospective career option.

The three key formulas that can solve almost all Profit & Loss problems are:

  1. Profit/Loss % = (Profit or Loss / Cost Price) × 100%, where CP is the cost price.

  2. Discount % = (Discount / Marked Price) × 100%, where MP is the marked price.

  3. Mark up % = (Mark up Value / Cost Price) × 100%, where CP is the cost price.

These formulas can be adapted for problems involving discounts, marked price, or successive gains/losses.

Hello,

Here are some top MBA colleges in India with fees under Rs. 2 lakh and their exam/cutoff details:

  • SIMSREE, Mumbai – Fee around Rs. 1.3–1.4 lakh for 2 years. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, MAT, ATMA. Cutoff is very high, usually 99+ percentile in CAT/CMAT.

  • PUMBA (Dept. of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University) – Fee around Rs. 1.2–1.3 lakh. Accepts CAT, CMAT, MAH-CET, ATMA. Cutoff approx. 75+ percentile in CAT, 90–95+ percentile in CMAT, high scores in MAH-CET.

  • TISS, Mumbai (MA HRM & other management-related programmes) – Fee around Rs. 1.7–1.9 lakh. Accepts CAT for some courses. Qualifying cutoff is around 60–70 percentile, but final selection cutoffs are higher.

These are the main government institutes where the full MBA/PG programme fee is within Rs. 2 lakh. Cutoffs vary slightly each year and by category, but SIMSREE and PUMBA generally need high scores, while TISS has its own process along with CAT shortlisting.

Hope it helps !

Hey! With a NEET score of 344 in the ST category, it is highly unlikely to get admission in any government BDS college in Delhi through the All India Quota. The cutoff for government BDS seats in Delhi usually falls around 400–450 for ST category, so your score is below that range.

You can consider private dental colleges, state quota seats in other states, or reattempt NEET next year to improve your chances.
