The IIT Bombay MBA application form 2026 has different basic eligibility criteria for domestic and international students. Domestic candidates must have a valid CAT score, while international students need to furnish a GMAT score for the IIT Bombay application. Domestic Candidates
A candidate must have completed their bachelor's degree with at least 60% or 6.5 CGPI out of 10 (55% or 6.0 CGPI in case of SC/ST/PWD candidates) from a university/institution duly incorporated by an act of parliament or state legislature or other institution declared as a deemed to be university under section 3 of UGC Act or have equivalent recognition accorded by Ministry of Education, or AICTE, or AIU or a reputed foreign university.
Candidates in their final year or awaiting results can also apply, subject to them scoring an aggregate of 60% marks (55% in case of SC/ST/PWD) till the latest examination. The IIT MBA admission 2026 will be subject to the fulfilment of basic eligibility criteria.

International Candidates
International students must have completed their undergraduate degree with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA out of 10 from a university or institution incorporated by an act of parliament/state legislature in India, or other institutions declared to be deemed as a university as per section 3 of the UGC Act, or has an equivalent status accorded by the ministry of education, AICTE, or AIU or is a recognised foreign university.
Candidates in their final year or waiting for their results can also apply for the IIT Bombay application form. They should have an aggregate score of 60% till the latest examination. Their admission is subject to the fulfilment of above mentioned criteria.
International candidates should have a valid GMAT score before applying for the IIT Bombay MBA application form.
TOEFL/IELTS is not required for students who have completed their bachelor's in English medium. However, a letter from the university declaring that English was their first language is required.
Candidates applying for the IIT Bombay MBA application form 2026 are advised to go through the following steps, which will help them in filling out the MBA application form.
Step 1: Go to the IIT Bombay official website, som.iitb.ac.in and click on the MBA Admission tab.
Step 2: Click on the Online Application on the MBA online application page.
Step 3: Now tap on the “new user? Click here to register” button. You can register with Google or manually.
Step 4: Enter a valid email address, and an activation URL will be sent to the email address. Make sure to check the activation URL within 12 hours.
Step 5: Add all the relevant information and details required for new registration.
Step 6: Log in using the email address and password entered at the time of registration.
Step 7: Fill out the IIT Bombay MBA application form within a 50-minute session window.
Step 8: Upload all the required documents and pay the online application fee.

IIT Bombay MBA application fee is expected to be around Rs. 1600 for the General/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs. 800 for the SC/ST/PWD category candidates. The application fee is non-refundable and can be paid through various payment methods, for instance, Credit or Debit card, UPI, or Netbanking.
IIT Bombay MBA Fees 2026 is expected to be around Rs. 8,00,000 for the General/OBC/EWS category candidates, while there’s no tuition fee for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
