Q. What activities are offered at KIIT School of Management? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

Ans: There are numerous events and activities for students at KIIT School of Management. The club culture in KSOM is great although it's a bit biased towards MBA. It has its domain, non-domain, and social clubs. There is also a KIIT Student Activity Centre in the university where one can join clubs and societies according to their interests. I am a part of the social club NSS (National Service Scheme) and the Finance Club of KSOM called Exchequer.

Q. Describe a typical day at KIIT School of Management - what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

Ans: Our classes usually start at 9:00 am, so I get up at 8:00 am, get ready, and go to college. On a typical day, if no classes are cancelled, our classes end at 3:30 pm. We do get a lunch break from 12:20 pm to 2:30 pm. After classes, I go back to the hostel, maybe take a nap, have some snacks, and then start with my assignments or just review all that was taught that day. After that, I watch a few lectures for CAT before going back to sleep (at 12:00 am usually).

Q. What facilities do you have on the KSOM campus? What do you like here the most which you feel is unique and differentiating?

Ans: We have everything a student might want on the KSOM campus. We have a library (a three-story building), a garden library (if one might want to read a book or just relax), an artificial pond to sit nearby, a food court, a sculpture park, and a bird sanctuary that was recently added to our campus. What I love the most about our campus is the greenery; it just feels soothing as soon as you see it. You can just take a stroll in the shade and feel a few pounds lighter.
