OJEE MBA Counselling 2018 - Odisha Joint Entrance Exam (OJEE) Committee has announced the OJEE MBA 2018 counselling schedule. Candidates could download their rank cards and register their names online for filling up the choice of colleges between July 27 and 29. The first seat-allotment was held on July 30, 2018, and the final allotment of seats and reporting to college will be conducted on August 3, 2018. Candidates are required to fill in the Special OJEE Registration and Choice Filling Form for participating in the OJEE Counselling process. The Odisha JEE counselling 2018 is based on the result which has been announced on July 25, 2018 (for 2nd OJEE MBA 2018 exam). The result of the first phase was announced on May 25. The cutoff score is the main deciding factor for any candidate’s selection for the OJEE MBA 2018 counselling. A total number of 4,644 seats will be offered for admission by various participating institutes of Odisha through a detailed counselling procedure which incorporates extensive document verification process and further interview rounds including the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The counselling is administered at the participating B-School campuses and only the shortlisted candidates who qualify the eligibility criteria as per the respective B-Schools and their cutoff scores are qualified to receive the call letters for the OJEE MBA counselling 2018. Candidates hailing from Odisha can expect admission to both the state’s government or public B-Schools but private B-Schools will accept admissions of candidates from the rest of the Indian states. OJEE MBA Counselling 2018 – Steps Involved
The counselling rounds will be held in online mode and candidates will have the option to fill their choice of the institute where they wish to get admission for pursuing MBA programmes. The following steps will elaborate the process of OJEE MBA 2018 counselling in a vivid manner:
1.Online Registration –
Candidates are required to register for the OJEE MBA 2018 counselling by filling their details in the link for online counselling registration. They must select the appropriate course for which they are seeking admission by entering their roll number and date of birth.
Candidates need to follow the authentication process by entering their personal and bank details along with the One Time Password received for verification of their mobile number.
Once this registration is submitted, print the registration slip for the document verification rounds.
2. Institute Choice Filling-
After registration, candidates will be directed to the choice filling page where they can give preferences of the desired institute they are seeking admission to.
Candidates should arrange their filled-in choices in order of their preferences about the institutes.
Candidates should fill as many choices as possible to enhance their chances of getting admission in the college of their choice.
Choices must be locked in order to ensure the desired choices are saved and submitted correctly.
3. Counselling Fee Payment-
Registered candidates have to pay a fee of Rs. 5450/- as counselling fee before appearing at the nodal centre.
The fee can be paid in both online and offline mode.
The fee payment acknowledgement or receipt must be printed and carried to the counselling venue as proof of having made the requisite payment.
4. Documents Verification-
Candidates must carry one set of original and one set of photocopies of the required documents for verification.
The photocopies must be self-attested.
Original documents will be returned after verification.
In case the candidates fail in the document verification process, the counselling fee will be refunded by the examination committee.
