is MBA WX from NMIMS is good or I should try for MBA WX from IIM

ADIL KHAN Student Expert 8th Apr, 2020

Hii Dinesh,

NMIMS -Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies Mumbai is ranked 2nd best among the top institutes in Maharashtra for pursuing MBA by Business today, and 4th by NIRF in the year 2019. The school offers great return on investment as the highest salary offered to the batch was of 30 lakhs per annum with an average of 18 Lakhs per annum and 100 percent placements recorded for the batch. The college offers great exposure to its students through the industry relations it maintains and the kind of summer placements it provides it students.

NMIMS is better than most of the CAP IIMs. You surely can go ahead if you have admits in IIMs like A,B,C,L,I,K but provided please self assess your profile and see if you are fit for thr TOP B-schools admissions list. They need students with stellar acads, work-ex if any and all rounders.

You can visit the following link for more information- https://www.careers360.com/university/narsee-monjee-institute-of-management-studies-mumbai You can reach out to us for more help regarding admissions, entrance tests and admission procedure.

Hope it helps,

Currently,I am pursuing B.Com Degree(Final Year) from IGNOU.I want to join MBA Regular Course after my graduation. Please suggest me list of colleges which accept IGNOU Degree for Admission to MBA(Regular Mode) in India ?

Shiksha 7th Apr, 2020

Hello!

Yes, many mba colleges accept graduation degree whether it's regular/distance/correspondence, if it's from the recognised board/institution and meet the eligibility percentage of individual institues. (Around minimum 50-60% for general)

Although it's a little difficult to get into top colleges with such graduation degree as in PI panelists ask the reasons and the reason you mention should be strong & valid to satisfy them.

You should perform really good in entrance exams like cat/mat/cmat/xat/nmat/ibsat/etc.

The few colleges that accept distance graduation from IGNOU are:

  • IIMs (almost all)
  • Sp jain mumbai (not the profile based but cat score based)
  • Fms delhi/fms bhu
  • IITs/NITs (with their eligibility % in graduation which is mostly 60% and years of graduation should be 3-4 yrs depending upon the institue branch)
  • Nmims (all branches)
  • Ibs Hyderabad
  • Jaipuria lucknow
  • Jims Rohini
  • Mdi gurgaon/murshidabad
  • Etc

I hope this helps
