MUCMET 2019 – Mumbai University Common Management Entrance Test (MUCMET) is conducted annually for admission to Integrated BMS+MBA course offered at Mumbai’s Thane Sub Campus. The state-level exam will be conducted in paper-pencil mode by Mumbai University, in the third week of May. In order to appear for MUCMET exam, candidates must have passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized board with minimum 45% (40% for reserved category) in any stream. The online application form of MUCMET 2019 will be released in the first week of May 2019. As per the exam pattern prescribed by Mumbai University, MUCMET 2019 will be held for a duration of two hours across multiple cities. Post MUCMET 2019, a merit list will be released and the successful candidates can seek admission on the basis of same. Aspirants must note that 85% seats under MUCMET in Maharashtra University are reserved for students belonging to Maharashtra. Mumbai University (MU) prescribes the eligibility criteria of MUCMET 2019:
Educational Qualification: To be eligible to appear MUCMET 20198, the applicant must have obtained a Higher Secondary School/Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent certificate from a recognized Board in the first attempt with not less than 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of Reserved Category applicants).
Age Limit: Age of applicants must be maximum 20 years (as on May 12, 2019), and 22 years in case of Reserved category applicants and Person with Disability (PwD) applicants.
MUCMET Application Form 2019
The application process of MUCMET 2019 begins in the first week of March and will continue until the end of March 2019. Before filling the form, candidates must first check the eligibility criteria of MUCMET 2019.
How to apply for MUCMET 2019?
Candidate can apply for MUCMET through an online application form available on the official website. To download the form, the candidates have to visit the Mumbai University website and select Thane Sub Campus tab. On the new page, the candidate will find BMS-MBA (Integrated) link which will take them to the MUCMET application form.
MUCMET registration form must be submitted by post or in person before the deadline along with relevant documents and a demand draft of Rs 500 (Rs 250 for Reserved category students) drawn in favour of Finance and Accounts Officer, University of Mumbai.

MUCMET Admit Card 2019
The University of Mumbai will release the Admit Card for MUCMET 2019 in the first week of May 2019. The hall ticket will be released on the official website of Mumbai University. It will be necessary for all the applicants to download it by logging in with their credentials and take the printout of the admit card of MUCMET. Candidates will not be allowed to appear in the test without the hall ticket of MUCMET 2019.
MUCMET Exam Pattern 2019
As per MUCMET Exam Pattern, it is an offline test of 2 hours. Candidates have to mark their answers using black or blue ballpoint pen.
There will be 4 sections in the exam-Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness, Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.
The test consists of a total of 100 questions in 2 hours duration.
For every correct answer, candidate will be awarded one mark.
Negative marking is also applicable in the exam.

MUCMET Syllabus 2019
There is no syllabus as such prescribed by MU. Candidates will be asked questions from four sections namely Language, Quantitative, Logical and General Awareness. Prospective test-takers can prepare from various management preparation books available
Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: This section will test the candidate’s skills in English Language. Questions based on Grammar, Vocabulary, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases, Expressions, etc. and Reading and Comprehension will be asked.
Quantitative Aptitude: QA section checks the candidate’s ability to accurately carry out numerical calculations, solve arithmetic problems in Averages, Ratio and Proportion, Interpretation of numerical tables, Graphs, Charts, Percentage, Quantitative Reasoning, etc.
Logical and Abstract Reasoning: This section will evaluate the ability of quick thinking in terms of logic and data interpretation and questions based on figures, graphs, diagrams, etc.
General Awareness: Candidate’s knowledge of General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Business and Industry, etc. will be tested.
MUCMET Result 2019
MUCMET Result will be declared in the month of June on the official website. MUCMET merit list will be declared in the form of pdf. Candidate can check their roll numbers in the list. After the announcement of the MUCMET result, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their ranks for admission in the Integrated Program. Shortlisted candidates have to report to the designated college, pay the admission fee and submit the documents required.
