Candidates aspiring for MBA in Kerala University, must first check the eligibility criteria and then the important dates followed by the application procedure.

Eligibility Criteria of Kerala University MBA Admission 2025

  • The candidate should have passed the degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from any Indian University, under the regular stream, recognized by the University of Kerala and shall be in the 10+2+3 pattern (or in 10+2+4 pattern).

  • Candidates who have passed M.Com./MA/M.Sc. or any other PG courses recognized by Kerala University with 50% marks or equivalent in the aggregate are also eligible to apply.

  • Candidates who are appearing for their final year/final semester degree examination are also eligible to apply.

Candidates seeking admission must follow the steps below-

  • Visit the official website and enter the basic details

  • The candidates should possess a valid score from any one of the entrance examinations conducted by MBA entrance exam in Kerala (KMAT), CMAT or CAT.

  • The registration fee is Rs.600 (Rupees Six Hundred only) for candidates of the general category and Rs.300 for SC/ST candidates.

  • Fees once paid will not be refunded

  • All registered candidates who have provided a valid score card are invited through SMS/email to participate in the counselling as the Group Discussion and Interview that was to be held at Trivandrum, Adoor and Alappuzha has been cancelled

Note the following points:

  • Once a candidate chooses any centre and pays the application fee, no requests for change of centres will be entertained. Hence they should be careful while choosing a centre in the first place

  • Candidates need not send the hard copies of application forms to the University/ IMK/UIM. Once the print out page appears on screen, it is proof that the candidates have registered successfully

  • Obtaining a degree from the University of Kerala and awaiting final semester/final will be given admission on the basis that they will produce the results before registration to their first-semester examination

  • Only those candidates who produce eligibility certificates and mark lists of Degree or Master’s Degree, at the time of counselling, will be considered for admission in Kerala University MBA programmes

Kerala University MBA Admission Counselling Process 2025

Kerala University MBA admission counselling will be held at Golden Jubilee Hall, University of Kerala, Karyavattom and IMK. In the absence of eligible SC/ST candidates, the same position will be filled by candidates belonging to other categories, namely, OEC first and subsequently by SEBC candidates, followed by General candidates. All the candidates who appeared for the entrance examination were to be invited to participate in the Group Discussion and Interview as per the dates, but the same has been cancelled. If any candidate is found absent during counselling, the next candidate will be called immediately.

Note: Separate applications have to be submitted for MBA admissions at IKM Kariavattom & UIM.

yes, it may be possible to transfer to Dhanalakshmi College of Pharmacy for the 3rd year of Pharm D, subject to approval by the university and regulatory bodies. the college typically requires a No objection certificate (NOC) from the current university and a transcript of completed coursework. it's best to contact the college admisnstratuon directly for detailes guidance and eligibility confirmation.

Your overall rank 6000+ is good but you are in a obc category which cutoff ranks is generally near to general candidates that’s the only issue. If you are under any special reservation category like sc st category your chances of getting a seat in ICAR Kerala university you may get but for this rank, under obc category you need to hope for te best till the last counselling round.
