Aekansh Jain: My name is Aekansh Jain, with over a decade of experience in finance, corporate development, and M&A advisory. I completed my PGDM from the institute during 2009–2011, and since then have built my career across leading organizations including HDFC Bank, Toyota Financial Services, BMW India Financial Services, EY, and I am currently working with Accenture in the M&A domain, supporting the Financial Due Diligence vertical.
I chose this institution for my higher education due to its strong academic reputation, structured curriculum, and emphasis on practical learning. The quality of faculty and exposure to industry-relevant subjects played a key role in shaping my foundation and influenced my decision to pursue my studies here.

Aekansh Jain: Yes, there were opportunities through internships, live projects, and academic assignments that required real-world application. These experiences helped bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical execution.
Careers360: How did extracurricular activities, clubs, or cultural events contribute to your personal development?
Aekansh Jain: Participation in extracurricular activities enhanced my leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. These platforms also helped in building confidence, time management abilities, and a sense of responsibility beyond academics.

Aekansh Jain: The placement and career services played a meaningful role by providing guidance, organising recruitment drives, and preparing students for interviews. While outcomes may vary individually, the support and structure were valuable.

Aekansh Jain: The degree laid a strong foundation for my career by equipping me with technical knowledge and professional discipline. It enabled me to transition into complex roles and adapt to evolving industry demands.

Aekansh Jain: Analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in teams are the most valuable skills I continue to leverage in my current role.

Aekansh Jain: I would advise students to focus on building strong fundamentals, remain adaptable, and continuously upskill.

Aekansh Jain: Professionals should proactively identify skill gaps by observing industry trends, role expectations, and feedback from peers and mentors. Continuous learning through certifications, cross-functional exposure, and practical experience adds long-term value.
