TS ICET Counselling 2024: Key Information

TS ICET counselling 2024 for MBA admission will be carried out in two phases: phase 1 and the final phase. There will be one spot round for MBA/ MCA admission at private unaided colleges in Telangana. To complete the ICET counselling registration, candidates have to pay a counselling fee of Rs 1200 (UR Category) and Rs 600 (Reserved Category).

Candidates who wish to participate in the Telangana MBA counselling for the special phase will have to fill out the online TS ICET form and pay the required ICET counselling fee. After completing the payment, candidates will be able to book a slot. One must score the minimum qualifying marks in Telangana ICET 2024 to get shortlisted for Telangana ICET counselling 2024.

A TS ICET seat allotment list will be prepared based on the candidate's rank, choices given by candidates, reservation criteria, and document verification. Candidates can check the TS ICET 2024 seat allotment results using their login credentials. Prior to appearing for the ICET 2024 counselling rounds, candidates will have to download the Telangana ICET allotment letter from the official website of TSCHE by entering their login credentials.

Candidates will have to book a slot by paying the processing fees for TS ICET counselling 2024 for each phase. Authorities conduct the Telangana ICET web counselling and provisional TS ICET allotment letters are then issued for each slot. TS ICET Counselling Eligibility Criteria 2024

Prior to applying for TS ICET counselling, one should check its eligibility criteria. Check the following TS ICET 2024 counselling eligibility.

• Only candidates who qualify for the Telangana ICET 2024 entrance test with a minimum score of 50 percent (General category candidate) and 45 percent (Reserved category candidates) in total aggregate will be eligible to participate in Telangana ICET counselling 2024.
• Minority students (Muslim/ Christian) who will not be able to clear TS ICET 2024 or have scored 50 percent marks (OC candidates) and 45 percent (other category candidates) will only be considered for admission to the participating colleges, only for the leftover seats in minority colleges.
• A candidate must be an Indian citizen.
• He/ she must belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana
• There is an age criterion for candidates which is for (OC candidates) that age should not be more than 30 years and (for other candidates) 34 years as of July 1, 2024.
• Candidates must have completed their graduation in any discipline with a minimum of three years of duration

TS ICET Counselling 2024 - Steps for Paying Processing Fees

Step 1 - Visit the official website of TSCHE counselling, tsicet.nic.in
Step 2 - Now click on the ‘Payment of processing fee’ tab
Step 3 - Enter the following details for Telangana ICET counselling 2024 registration

• Registration number which is printed on the TS ICET hall ticket 2024
• ICET 2024 admit card number

• Date of Birth (DOB)

Detailed Process of TS ICET Counselling 2024

Here is the detailed process of ICET counselling that candidates must stay updated with:

Stage 1 - Payment of TS ICET 2024 counselling processing fee

• Those who will be shortlisted for the TS ICET counselling 2024 round will have to pay the processing fee. While paying the TS ICET counselling fee, one will have to log in by entering the registration number, which is available on the admit card of Telangana ICET 2024.
• Fill in all the prescribed details.

• After filling in all the details, pay the application fee.

Stage 2 - Verification of documents

After paying the TS ICET counselling processing fee, one will have to appear at the allotted help centres as prescribed by the authorities for document verification. At the time of document verification, the candidate’s Aadhaar card details will be verified. At the time of document verification, candidates need to produce the following documents at TS ICET 2024 counselling centres.

• TS ICET 2024 admit card.
• ICET rank card.
• Passing degree/certificate.
• Aadhaar card.
• SSC mark sheet/ passing certificate.
• Degree provisional passing certificate.
• Intermediate or equivalent passing certificate/ mark sheet.
• Degree memorandum of marks.
• Degree provisional passing certificate.
• Transfer certificate (TC).
• Study or Bonafide certificate from class IX to Degree.
• Income certificate which should be issued after January 1, 2024, by the competent authority (if applicable).
• Residence certificates of candidates for 7 years preceding to qualify for the exam in the case where the candidate has no institutionalized education.
• Those who are non-local will be required to submit a residence certificate for allotment of unreserved seats.

TS ICET Counselling 2024 - Category-wise documents required

Candidates will have to produce the following documents as per their category for document verification: Candidates will be called for the counselling process after the declaration of TS ICET cutoff marks

• CAP: Certificate which should be issued by the Zila Sainik Welfare Officer. In the case of ex-servicemen, an Identity Card (ID) card and service discharge book will be required for complete verification.
• PH:
• The certificate should be issued by the District Medical Board.
• Disability is more than or equal to 40 per cent.
• Minorities - Minority status or certificate from the Headmaster.
• Anglo-India - Certificate which should be issued by a competent authority.

• NCC & Sports - Certificate which should be issued by a competent authority.

TS ICET Counselling 2024 - Document Verification Process

• At the help centres of TS ICET, authorities will announce the registration for counselling.
• Candidates will have to submit their Telangana ICET 2024 rank card to the officer at the entrance and collect the registration form to fill in all the required details.
• As per candidates' ICET rank, they will be called for biometric verification. Further, students will have to pay the processing fee and update their mobile number and Aadhaar card number. After that, students will be given a receipt.
• Candidates will have to enter their TS ICET 2024 admit card number and rank in the register, which will be provided at the time of document verification.

• Now candidates will have to collect their verification form from the computer operator.

Stage 3 - Option Entry

• After document verification, candidates can move on to the next stage of the ICET 2024 counselling process.
• Now candidates will have to choose the colleges they wish to apply to. Candidates must visit the college profile to check the availability of courses, duration, and job prospectus.
• The procedure for Telangana ICET 2024 counselling option entry is as follows:
• Generate a password by clicking on the tab ‘Candidate registration’.

• Now enter the following details:

  • TS ICET hall ticket number

  • ROC form number

  • Rank

  • Date of birth

• Re-login to exercise options. Enter the following details:

  • Hall ticket number

  • Login ID

  • Password

  • Date of birth

• Now click on one or more districts to display the name of colleges in particular districts.
• College name, girl's college, and minority institutions will be displayed in different colors.
• Now candidates will have to enter their TS ICET 2024 admit card number and options numbers in the boxes will be provided next to the college's name.
• Now candidates will have to click on “Save” and logout.

Stage 4 - Allotment of Seats

Candidates will be allotted seats as per their gender, merit, category, local area, and reservation (if any). Candidates can download the allotment order by entering their login credentials.

Stage 5 - Payment of Tuition Fee and Self-Reporting

In the acceptance of the TS ICET counselling allotment offer, one will have to pay the requisite fee by the self-report system. One will have to click on ‘Accept my joining’. After this admission number will be generated, for which one will have to take a printout and submit along the allotment letter at the college opted for.

TS ICET Counselling 2024 - Process for Participating In the Subsequent Rounds

• For any reason, if a candidate is unable to participate in the previous phase of Telangana ICET counselling, then in such case they can participate again by attending the document verification round.
• If no seat is allotted in the first round of TS ICET counselling 2024, then in such case candidates can participate in the next round of counselling.
• If a candidate does not accept the allotted seat, then joining will be considered cancelled and it will be treated as vacant. However, candidates cannot claim the previous allotment in the preceding rounds of counselling.
• If a candidate accepts the offer, then he/she needs to pay the prerequisite fee and they can appear for the subsequent rounds.

TS ICET Counselling 2024 - Process of cancellation

• If a candidate wishes to cancel/ withdraw the allotted seat then he or she can do so within a prescribed time limit which will be provided by the authorities.
• Those who want to cancel/ withdraw their allotted seat then they need to report to the convenor in person by registered post and submit the following documents.
  • Application form for cancellation of allotted seat.
  • Receipt of a certificate issued at the time of document verification from the allotted help centres.
  • Fee payment receipt.
  • Latest provisional allotment letter.
  • Cancellation request letter by the candidate.

TS ICET 2024: Final Admission

After the conclusion of the TS ICET counselling 2024 process, authorities will issue the admission offer letter. Candidates will have to report to the allotted college as per the schedule mentioned in the admission offer letter. At the time of admission, if any candidate is found ineligible to produce their original academic certificate, their candidature will be cancelled.
