IIM Udaipur Admission Criteria 2016-18: 55% weight to CAT scores
The Indian Institute of Management Udaipur has announced its admission criteria for the batch of 2016-18. The admission criterion is for the 6th batch of PGP batch which is likely to have around 180 students. As per the process, CAT 2015 scores will have 55% weightage in preparing the final merit list along with other parameters.
The final selection procedure will compromise of Personal Appearance (PA) which is composed of Written Analysis (WA) and Personal interview (P). In the first step, candidates are short-listed for PA from among those candidates who have appeared in CAT 2015, and secured scores on the basis of IIM Udaipur cutoff.
The admission process of IIM Udaipur will consists of:
Short listing candidates for Personal Appearance (PA) process.
Preparing the Merit List based on CAT score, PI & WA score and Profile score as indicated in following tables.
Criteria for Short listing for PA (WA and PI) process
The cut-off percentile marks for eligibility for PA process in the three sections and the total CAT scores for different categories of students is given below:
Minimum CAT 2015 Percentile for the PGP Batch of 2016-18
Quantitative Ability Percentile Rank (QA)
Data Interpretation and Logical reasoning Percentile Rank (DI & LR)
Verbal and Reading Comprehension Percentile Rank (VRC)
The number of the shortlisted candidates to be called for PA process will be decided and finalized by the IIM Udaipur Admission Committee on the basis of criteria prepared for each category. However, if the actual number of short-listed candidates were found to be less or more than the required number of candidates to be called for WA & PI category-wise, then the overall as well as section-wise minimum score would be reduced or increased to get the desired number of candidates.
Criteria for Preparing the Merit List
The criteria for preparing the merit list will be as follows
CAT Score: 55 %
Personal Appearance (WA & PI): 21%
In preparing the final merit list, IIM Udaipur will give 55% weightage to CAT scores, along with 21% to scores of Personal Appearance and 24% to Profile, comprising components like Academic, Work experience and gender diversity scores.
The Personal Appearance will have following weights
Written Analysis : 6%
Personal Interview : 15%
Candidates who do not obtain certain minimum scores in the WA & PI would not be considered for the merit list.
Profile will have a weightage of 24%, which includes other components. The breakup of the components under profile section is provided below,
Academic Profile: 8 %
Work experience: 6 %
Diversity : 10 %
For Academic Profile, following will be the weights
10th Standard: 2%
12th Standard: 2%
Under Graduation: 4%
The following would be the basis for scoring candidates in respect of their academic profiles.

Scores for Gender Diversity will be,
While merit is the prime consideration, IIM Udaipur also promotes diversity in its PGP. Hence, female candidates will be allotted 5 marks under diversity. The final merit list for admissions will be prepared around the last week of April/first week of May 2016.
The six new IIMs (Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Trichy and Udaipur) have decided to adopt a common process of WA&PI to be coordinated this year by IIM Kashipur. In case any of the older IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Indore, Kozhikode, and Lucknow) are willing to share their WA & PI score with the six new IIMs, the common candidates who have applied to new IIMs, need not to appear for WA & PI process separately, else they have to appear. The common candidates will be intimated the names of older IIMs sharing WA & PI scores with new IIMs.

If I get 574 marks neet ug 2020 from obc cat then what chances for getting govt college in rajasthan
As you have not mentioned your home state so considering it as Rajasthan according to your profile.
See it is little bit difficult to predict exactly whether you will get seat in any government medical college or not because different colleges have different cut-offs for State quota and All India Quota. Also, cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
But if we go through previous years NEET cut-off trends in Rajasthan then there are good chances for you to get seat in some of the GMCs, the reason being is last year the lowest cut-off marks was 564 for Government Medical College, Barmer for Management quota seat under Home State quota for OBC category.

Your academics are quite strong. MBA colleges such as IIMs, FMS, etc , they look for people who have a good academic record, CAT percentile of more that 95, mostly. And, if you have a good hold of communication skills(professional), you'll surely be preffered.
Apart from CAT preparation, During your Bcom, just focus on your studies and try to keep your CGPA decent and good. Try to engage in extra curricular activities. Work on developing your skills. And, if you have working experience, more preference would be given to you. So, you should do a few internships and if possible get some job experience after completing Bcom. You should follow books like RS agarwal and arun sharma for a good hold of quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, data interpretation, verbal and nonverbal reasoning.

As per your rank in EWS CAT in Banaras Hindu University, you are eligible to get admission in main campus. Also you are more preferable to get admission in affiliated colleges of Banaras Hindu University which offer Msc Zoology. The preparation time totally depends upon your background knowledge and the source and method you are following. It really depends from people to people and 4 months is also good, if you have enough knowledge for preparing according.
