IIM Trichy PGPBM Admission Eligibility Criteria

Before filling the application form of IIM trichy PGPBM course students must ensure to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualifications

• Student must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of reserved category).

• The percentage of graduation will be calculated based on the practice by the concerned university/institute from where the student has graduated. Conversion of CGPA will be followed as per the norm of the university/institute from where student has graduated.

• In case the university/institute does not have any CGPA conversion policy then the equivalence would be established by dividing the CGPA obtained with the Maximum CGPA multiplying the result with 100.

Work Experience

Candidates applying for the program must have a minimum of three years of full time experience as on August 1, 2020.

Reservation

Reservation to the students will be provided as per the norms of Government of India.

IIM Trichy PGPBM Admission Process

IIM Trichy will follow the 3 stages of admission process which are:

Stage 1 - Filling of application form

Stage 2 - Written Test

Stage 3 - Personal interview and admission offer

Stage 1 - Filling of application form

Students who have fulfilled the above mentioned eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form of IIM Trichy PGPBM. To fill the registration form students must follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 2 - Enter the details to create login credentials

Step 3 - Activate the link sent on the registered email address

Step 4 - Enter the login credentials created

Step 5 - Click on the tab ‘apply now’

Step 6 - Enter the details prescribed:

Step 7 - Upload the photograph of size less than 1.5 MB (jpp; jpeg format)

Step 8 - Pay the application fee

Step 9 - Enter payment details

After the complete transactions enter the following details:

• ID/NEFT transaction reference number

• Date

• Name of the bank

• Upload the payment form (less than 1.5 mb in jpg, jpeg, png and pdf format only)

Step 10 - Notify if CAT exam taken

Step 11 - Enter the educational details

Step 12 - Enter achievement details

Step 13 - Take the print of the duly filled application form for future references

Stage 2 - Written Test

Candidates who will successfully fill the application form will be able to appear for the written test which will be conducted at IIM Trichy campus. The written test of PGPBM is scheduled to be held on July 5. The written test will access the candidate’s skill through various sections viz., quantitative ability, verbal ability, data interpretation, and logical reasoning. The exam will be conducted for a duration of 150 minutes in offline mode.

Exemption from written test:

Students who have a valid score in CAT 2019 or GMAT (taken between May 1 and April 30 2020) will be exempted from the written test of IIM Trichy.

Also if the candidate is having CAT/GMAT score and wishes to appear for the written test conducted by IIM Trichy they can do so. In such case candidate’s CAT/GMAT score will be ignored and marks which will be obtained in the written test will be considered.

Stage 3 - Personal Interview and Admission Offer

Students who will have a valid score in written test/CAT 2019/ GMAT will be shortlisted for personal interview round. The personal interview is scheduled to be held on July 11 and July 12.

Final score for admission offer will be computed as per the following parameters:

IIM Trichy PGPBM Admission - Fee Structure

The total fee of PGPBM course will comprise of two parts:

1 - Non-refundable Course Fee – Rs. 11,80,000/- plus applicable taxes

2 - Refundable Caution Deposit - Rs. 10,000/-

The non-refundable fee will consist of various components like Tuition fee, library, case premise royalty, textbook, academic course pack, examination, and alumni activity. The total fee has to be paid in nine installments as mentioned below:
