Devi Ahiliya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has released the first MBA seat allotment list for postgraduate (PG) admission through CUET PG. Five MBA flagship programmes witnessed high cutoffs. As per the released seat allotment, MBA in Financial Administration at the Institute of Management Studies (IMS) recorded the highest closing merit rank at 64, followed by MBA in Marketing Management at 127, MBA Business Analytics at 224, MBA Human Resource at 277, and MBA e-Commerce at 293.
This is for the first time, DAVV conducted CUET PG MBA counselling process in online mode, and allocated seats based on student’s merit and choice filling. MBA in Financial Administration (FA) and Marketing Management (MM) programmes have emerged as the most sought-after programs offered by DAVV. The ranks were prepared for the CUET PG MBA score secured by the candidates who took the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission to PG courses.
Admission at DAVV is being conducted for a total of 1435 seats across 24 Postgraduate (PG) programmes, with seat allotments based on CUET PG score and students’ choice filling preferences. As mentioned above, the top five most competitive MBA courses saw allotment up to the 224th rank. Meanwhile, programmes like MBA in Media Management, Foreign Trade, Advertising and Public Relations (APR), Tourism, and International Business (IB) saw MBA seat allotments ranging from ranks 300 to 1100.
“The University has successfully conducted online counselling. Allotment details have been shared via SMS, and students can download their allotment letters using their CUET application number and date of birth”, said CUET-PG admission chairman at DAVV Professor Rajesh Sharma. The second round of counselling will take place from July 2 with fresh registrations. Those who were not allotted any course in the first round of counselling can participate in the second round by filling their choice again without re-registration.
Those who received allotment will have to report to their respective departments for MBA admission and document verification, which will be held on July 1 and 2. Candidates are required to carry the following documents for verification.

Note: Reporting time varies by course, and those failing to report on time will be considered as excluded from the process.
On Question asked by student community
Hello,
Yes, the DAVV takes admission on class 12th merit-based, but it also depends on the specific course and whether you appear for the CUET exam or not. For many UG courses, you need to take the CUET exam, and your eligibility depends on the class 12th marks. However, some courses just need the 12th marks to get admission; no CUET is needed.
I hope it will clear your query!!
With a score of 295 in DAVV group C and a UR rank of 790, you have a fair chance to get into the integrated BTech and MTech program, but seats in popular branches like CS, AI & DS, IT, and IoT are usually taken up quickly by higher ranked students. CS and AI & DS are the most in demand, so it may be tough to get them in the first round. However, you may still get a chance in later rounds or in branches like IT/IoT depending on how many higher-ranked candidates opt for other choices. Keep all preferred branches in order during choice filling and don’t skip counselling rounds.
With 316 marks in CUET UG, you have a fair chance of getting admission to the integrated MTech in IT at DAVV, as the cutoff for this course usually stays within your score range. Seats do get filled fast in the early rounds, but you may still secure a seat in the last round depending on availability.
Hello,
You want to get integrated into M.Tech. Also, you want a branch in IT. But, with your score in the 2nd round, it's very unlikely that you will get this program and branch in the DAVV. Because it's a pretty popular program in the institute with very high competition and limited seats, a mark of 316 out 1000 is very low against this competition.
I hope it will clear your query!!
Hello,
If you got M.Tech Integrated in IoT at DAVV with a rank of 262 and want to upgrade to AI & DS or CS/IT, it depends on seat availability and cut-off ranks in further counselling rounds.
If higher preference branches like AI & DS or CS/IT remain vacant and your rank fits in the cut-off, you may get an upgrade.
Keep checking official counselling updates and attend all rounds. Also, contact DAVV admission cell for clear guidance.
If not upgraded, you can study well in IoT and later shift to a related field or switch during M.Tech (if allowed).
Hope it helps !
