Yes, you can still target IIMs even with a two-year gap post-graduation, as they consider diverse profiles and experiences. A gap isn't necessarily a disadvantage if you can account for it in interviews or your application. Thus, you can get into a good MBA college but mind you, it won't be easy because there are thousands of students who are as good as you, if not better. The  XAT cut-offs for IMT Nagpur and Welingkar Institute for their MBA program is between 70-80 percentile. So you have a good chance of getting a call from both institutes. However, the chances of conversion depend on your 10th, 12th, graduation marks.

XLRI Jamshedpur will tentatively conduct the Xavier Aptitute Test (XAT) 2025 in the first of January 2025. It is expected that XAT 2025 registration will begin in the second week of July 2024.
