The XAT 2015 exam is broadly divided two parts, consisting of different sections. Part one has three sections namely, Quantitative Ability, English Language & Logical Reasoning and Decision Making. Part 2 of the paper is subjective and objective consisting Essay Writing and General Knowledge sections. XAT 2015 Syllabus - Verbal and Logical Ability
For the section, the main topics include probability, philosophy, analytics skills and other verbal logical ability that supports students to crack this section easily. Other topics include:
XAT 2015 Syllabus - Decision Making
The syllabus pattern for this section has questions testing the decision making skills of students. Mostly the questions would be in a case form and students are asked to select the most appropriate decision.
XAT 2015 Syllabus - Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
The XAT 2015 Syllabus for this section has questions related to numbers and prepares candidates for number systems, numerology and data skills. The main topics of this sections include the following:
The Part two of the XAT 2015 Syllabus consists of General Awareness and Essay writing, which prepares students with essay writing on different topics and general knowledge questions. This part of the exam cannot be defined with any particular syllabus as it is very vast.

XAT is known for its high difficulty level. Hence, the preparation should be taken accordingly.
Students with a recognized university Bachelor’s degree from India or Abroad with 5 years of experience would be eligible to apply for the XAT 2015. Last year, XAT was taken by around 90,000 candidates for admission in 112 B-schools across India.
The XAT 2015 result will be declared by January 31, 2015 after which the final admission will be made based on the XAT 2015 cutoff and performance in GD PI.

its true that iims and some of other top ranked institute shortlisted candidates as per their academic record and cat or any other management aptitude test score. see right now which of institute name you have mentioned is also comes under tier 1 college. now you need to focus on your presentation skills, communication approach to get shortlisted in final rounds. so keep calm and focus on your goal, I think you will surely crack it.
IMI Bhubhneswar is a good college and you will be able to get a call letter from the college if you have secured 60 percentile in any of the mba entrance exam. However the college does not offer good ROI. The college placement scenario is good. companies like Outlook magazine, Byju's, Jaro Education, ICICI bank, Varite, Executive B. School visit the collge for final placement. Average placement package is 6.5lpa to 11 LPA. For SIP the range of stipend for SIP is 7,500 to 25000 p. m. The ambiance at IMI Bhubaneswar offers a unique and complete learning experience with good infrastructure facilities.
Jaineel, you have secured a very good score in CMAT and XAT Examination and this score would probably fetch you the admission to some of the top B-schools in the country. You require strong analytical application to handle reasoning based questions. You need to handle the test challenges more confidently for Preparing the decision making section and the essay writing. Do practise as much you can & join Mock test. Overall you need to focus more on time management, prioritization and striking a right balance between speed and accuracy.
