Rehan Alam Student Expert 13th Nov, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

You have to first appear in the Common Aptitude Test( CAT ). This is a national level aptitude test for graduates seeking admission into various IIMs all over the country. The test contains of three sections:

  • Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability (34 Questions)
  • Logical Reasoning and Data Interpretation ( 32 Questions )

Each question have +3 marks for correct attempt and -1 for wrong attempt. You have to score minimum 150 marks for the admission in IIMs.

That too is a long process, you have to have a good previous academic record also to get a call. IIMs call on the aspirant on the basis of the candidate's previous academic performance and CAT score.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

is there any scholarship available in iim indore

Naveen Meena Student Expert 9th Nov, 2019
Dear Sanskar, yes there is a scholarship program in IIM Indore. IIM Indore provides some sort of relaxation in fees for financially poor students. And also provides them many free facilities for the initial three years of the course. Need based Financial Assistance (NBFA). This is a fee waiver based on the income level of the parent. All students whose family income is less than 9L per annum are eligible. The amount of fee waiver depends on factors like how low the family income.

Also ,the Institute awards an INR 1.5 lakhs Scholarship for Outstanding Academic Performance in the 4th Year of Integrated Programme in Management at the end of 5 years.

Moreover you can easily get loan for your fees which you can repay after your completion of course.

All the best

Hope this helps

what is the eligibility criteria for admission in ipm in iim Indore. l had got 44 marks in maths and overall i got 63% marks, can i still apply for ipm.

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 26th Oct, 2019

Dear Harsh, to pursue IPM at IIM Indore, you need to appear for IPMAT. To be eligible for IPMAT, you should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Classes 10th and 12th. This is a collective required aggregate and not required for any specific subject. It is 60% for General Category and OBC-NCL while it is 55% for Reserved Categories. So if you have secured 60% in both 10th and 12th, even if your Mathematics marks are less, you are still eligible for IPMAT. For more information regarding IPMAT, please visit our page at: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/ipmat-eligibility-criteria
