IIM Indore Admission Criteria 2020-22: IIM Indore will announce the admission criteria for the academic year 2020-22. IIM Indore admission criteria 2020 takes into state components like shortlists candidates on the basis of CAT performance, past academic records and Gender Diversity factors. IIM Indore admission criteria will be conducted in two steps, i.e. shortlisted the candidates for the selection rounds (WAT and PI) and the final merit list prepared on the basis of the composite score of the candidate which includes gender diversity, academic diversity, work experience and so forth. The selection of the candidates for admission to the 2020-22 batch of the PGP at IIM-Indore a three-stage selection process:
Shortlist for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)
Step 1: Eligibility Criteria

All aspirants who apply for the two-year PGP of IIM Indore must fulfil the eligibility criteria of CAT 2019 and also the minimum sectional percentile and overall percentile scores in CAT 2019 as mentioned in the given table. Only those candidates satisfying the specified criteria will be considered for Stage-2 of the selection process.
Step 2: Shortlist for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)
Only those candidates qualifying the requirements mentioned in Stage-I will be considered for
The second stage of shortlisting for WAT and PI. Adequate number of candidates for WAT and PI for each category (General, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD) will be shortlisted using the merit list
generated based on Composite Score (CS) as mentioned in the given table:

Candidates who shortlisted for WAT and PI will be suggested in the month of January 2020. Personal regret letters will not be sent to candidates who are not shortlisted for WAT and PI. IIM Indore will attend the admission interviews in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai. However, IIM Indore keeps the right to change the centres at any time if the situation so warrants.
Candidates shortlisted for WAT and PI at Stage-II will have to attend both WAT and PI, failing which they will be not be held for the next stage of selection process i.e Stage-III (Final merit list). IIM Indore also assumes a regular and minimum performance in the different parameters of Personal Interview (PI), which will be decided by the Admissions Committee. Candidates do not fulfil the minimum performance in any of PI parameters will not be considered for the next stage of selection process i.e. the final merit list.
Step 3: Final Selection
The candidates completing the requirements mentioned in Stage-II will only be considered for
the final selection. Category wise merit list will be created based on Final Composite Score
(FCS) as mentioned in the given table and provisional admission offers will be made accordingly, adhering to the reservation norms.

The personal Interview round is given maximum weightage of 40, followed by CAT and WAT scores. Past academic records estimate for 20 per cent weightage. Unlike other IIMs, IIM Indore does not examine work experience for shortlisting or selection criteria.
As per Government of India requirement, 27 per cent of the seats is reserved for NC-OBC candidates, 15 per cent for SC candidates, 7.5 per cent for ST candidates and 5 per cent for candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwD).

You have to first appear in the Common Aptitude Test( CAT ). This is a national level aptitude test for graduates seeking admission into various IIMs all over the country. The test contains of three sections:
Each question have +3 marks for correct attempt and -1 for wrong attempt. You have to score minimum 150 marks for the admission in IIMs.
That too is a long process, you have to have a good previous academic record also to get a call. IIMs call on the aspirant on the basis of the candidate's previous academic performance and CAT score.

If you want to get admission into MBA program of IIM Indore then you have to have the following academics.
90+ in your 10th, 90+ in your 12th, 65+ in any non engineering graduation, or 75+ in engineering.
After this you have to give CAT( common aptitude test), which is an aptitude test consisting of three sections:
You have 100 questions of +3/-1 marking scheme. You have to score around 160 marks in the exam with individually clearing the cutoff of each section which will be approx 40 marks.
Then the percentile results will be declared and you have to be in 99 percentile for engineering background and 98 percentile for non engineering background.

Dear Harsh, to pursue IPM at IIM Indore, you need to appear for IPMAT. To be eligible for IPMAT, you should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Classes 10th and 12th. This is a collective required aggregate and not required for any specific subject. It is 60% for General Category and OBC-NCL while it is 55% for Reserved Categories.
