MAT Syllabus 2024- All India Management Association (AIMA) has specified the MAT exam syllabus in the official brochure. AIMA conducts MAT exam in both online and offline mode and the questions will be asked as per the MAT syllabus for MBA. Candidates can visit the MAT exam syllabus 2024 official website - mat.aima.in to download the exam syllabus. MAT has five sections and each section consist of 30 questions. The total number of questions asked in MAT exam is 150 and candidates have to solve the entire MAT paper within 120 minutes. The entire MAT entrance exam syllabus 2024 is divided into five key sections which are Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Indian & Global Environment, and Intelligence & Critical Reasoning. This is basically a quantitative aptitude section where your mathematical solving skills and strong concepts up to class 12 come into play. You need to be aware of the shortcut tricks as you have to solve the questions within a stipulated time. You need to spot and solve the easiest questions at first and then move toward the more difficult questions in MAT Reasoning syllabus.
Do not spend too much time on a single question if you do not know the answer. Hence ace at mental calculation rather than solving on pen and paper.

The MAT's GK Section is not taken into account while determining the composite score or final percentile. However, if you score well in the MAT GK Section, you will have an advantage during the GD/PI procedure. So General Knowledge is also important for the interview perspective.

MAT and NMAT are both entrance exams conducted for admission into management program in India. While there maybe some overlap in terms of the general aptitude & reasoning sections, it's important to note that they are conducted by different bodies and have different focuses.
MAT covers sections like language comprehension, Mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, and India and Global environment.
NMAT on the other hand, focuses on language skills, Quantitative analysis and logical reasoning.
MAT is conducted in either paper based or computer based but, NMAT is only computer based.
MAT scores are accepted by wide range of management schools across India. While NMAT score are primarily used for admission into NMIMS, and some other institutions.
Given these differences, it's advisable to study separately for each exam.

MAT exam is conducted by AIMA( All India Management Association) for admissions into B schools. The minimum eligibility criteria for the same is an under-graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% aggregate for general category students and 45% for SC, ST, and OBC.
CAT is conducted by IIMs and the minimum eligibility to appear in the exam is an aggregate score of 50% in under-graduation for General category students and 45% aggregate for SC, ST, OBC candidates.

Yes, Composite Score of 450 and above is considered a good MAT score. Most of the MBA colleges accepting MAT select students having MAT score in the range of 80 percentile to 99 percentile. So yes your score of 597.5 is considered very good in MAT Examination accepting colleges.

DTU East Campus accepts MAT scores for its MBA program. However, admission criteria may vary, so it is best to verify details on the official website or contact the admissions office for the latest information. But yes! They do accept MAT score in DTU east campus.
