The marking scheme of the MAT exam is in accordance with the MAT syllabus. Each question has 1 mark, and there is a 0.25 that will be deducted for every wrong answer; 0 marks will be given/deducted for un-attempted questions.
MAT Result 2024: How to Calculate MAT Score and Percentile?
MAT 2024 result and score calculation based on marks obtained by the candidate in Mathematical Skills, Language Comprehension, Critical Reasoning and Data Analysis & Sufficiency. The MAT section score of Indian & Global Environment is not considered for percentile calculation.

- Every question carries one mark

The cutoff score for admission to India's top B-schools, which are determined by the MAT entrance exam, is frequently maintained at 600. Candidates that receive a MAT cutoff score of 600 fall into the top 30 percentile of students who took the entrance exam.
