MAH CET 2015 Counselling
MAH CET 2015 Counselling: DTE or the Directorate of Technical Education has conducted the MAH CET 2015 Counselling. The registration process had started from Saturday, May 16, 2015 and the last date of registration was Saturday, May 31, 2015.
The MAH CET 2015 Counselling had also started from May 16 and the last date for the process in Sunday, June 1, 2015. The process includes document verification, updation and confirmation of Application Form for admission at various ARCs.
The candidates who have taken the MAH CET 2015 can directly login through their registration credentials. Candidates who had taken CAT, XAT, ATMA or GMAT but not MAH CET 2015 had to register afresh. The application fee is Rs. 2000 for Open category candidates from Maharashtra, outside Maharashtra and J&K migrant candidates. The registration fee for the reserved category candidates is Rs. 1800.
Only those candidates who had qualified in the MAH CET 2015 result were able to take part in the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) or the MAH CET 2015 Counselling. There will be multiple rounds of MAH CET 2015 Counselling based on the number of vacant seats left after each round of CAP. The candidates have to produce original documents during the document verification rounds.
Incidentally, Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS) Mumbai has not been a part of the MAH CET 2015 Counselling owing to the autonomous status. This year onwards the B-School will conduct its own admission process.
DTE mentions, “For the academic year 2015-16, the Competent Authority shall conduct total three (3) rounds of Centralized Admission. The CAP shall consist of first two (2) rounds by Centralized Allotment wherein eligible candidates will fill separate Online Option forms for respective rounds. Third round of CAP shall be conducted by way of counseling only for the eligible Maharashtra State candidates.”
CAP Rounds for Maharashtra State candidates
MAH CET 2015 Counselling Rounds I & II: Direct Allotment - Allotment of seats for Home University seats and State level seats for other university candidates coming under CAP is carried out as per the logic explained in the rule 6.1.3. Stage-I and Stage-II shall be used for CAP Round –I. Stage-I, Stage-II, Stage-III, Stage-IV, Stage-V, Stage-VI and Stage-VII shall be used for CAP Round II.
Admission by Centralized Counseling
MAH CET 2015 Counselling Round-III of admission will be conducted only for eligible Maharashtra State Candidates whose names have appeared in Maharashtra State Merit list (subject to eligibility of participation as set out in the Annexure-I). During this round of admission by Counseling, no seat tag will be applied i.e. seats available shall be treated as GENERAL seats and shall be allotted solely on the basis of inter-se merit of eligible MS candidates without any reference whatsoever to the category of the candidate(s) (open /reserved) or the category to which the vacant seat belongs (such as Home University, other than Home University, Backward Class, Physically Handicapped etc) and also all the vacant All India Level Seats shall be treated as GENERAL seats and will be offered to MS candidates.
Rules of Reporting in the CAP process

Candidate has to confirm the admission, if he/she gets allotment of any one choice from first seven options. Such candidates will not be able to participate in further rounds of CAP i.e. Round-III, irrespective of the fact that such candidate confirms the admission or not. Other candidates who have got allotment between options 8~100 may also confirm the admission if he/she wishes so, however such candidate will not be able to participate in further rounds of CAP i.e. Round-III.
Third round by Counseling
Seat available will be offered to candidates eligible to participate in Round-III as per inter se merit.
All available seats will be treated as General Seats and will be offered only to Maharashtra State candidates who are eligible to participate in CAP Round-III (Counseling Round).

The provisional mark sheet will be declared on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2 pm. Candidates can submit the grievance, if any, at the ARC from Wednesday, June 3, 2015 to Friday, June 5, 2015 upto 5 pm. The final merit list will be declared on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 5 pm.
MAH CET 2015 has been taken by 57,224 candidates out of which 57,219 have been qualified for the MAH CET 2015 Counselling.

Those who will give CMAT 2021 , are they eligible for sitting in MH CET CAP COUNSELLING? If we are not giving mh cet exam?

CMAT and MH CET CAP are 2 different examination. CMAT examination provides MBA/ PGDM colleges all over India whereas MH CET CAP provides admission to the MBA/MMS Institutes of state of Maharashtra only!
To sit for counselling session of MH CET CAP a candidate needs to clarify that very examination along with the cut-off.

is MAH MBA CET exam accepted by PUMBA?
Yes Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune accepts MAH MBA CET for admissions. Department of Management Sciences, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune was established in the year 1971 and is a co-ed college. For Maharashtra candidates, students have to qualify MH-CET exam. Due to corona crisis there is a delay and the dates are not yet notified for MAH-MBA/MMS CET-2020 counselling. We cannot speculate anything now because the safety is a matter of concern. The schedule will be announced soon for that you may have to wait and check for updates and news regularly.
