Tips for AP ICET 2018 exam day

Don’t forget your Hall Ticket: The candidates must carry the AP ICET Hall Ticket 2018 to the test venue. Hall ticket is a mandatory document to be carried at the exam centre along with photo identity proof. Without the admit card, exam officials may cancel your candidature as well. The test takers must ensure that all the information on the Hall Ticket is correct, and the photograph and signature are clear and legible. The name should also match with the identity card.

Reach test centre before time: Candidates have to check the reporting time for the test which would be written on the hall ticket. They should also check the exam slot carefully. In order to avoid undue stress, candidates should reach the test centre at least one hour prior to the test schedule.

Take the seat assigned to you: The seat will be assigned on the basis of candidates’ roll numbers. Test takers have to ensure that they take the seat assigned to them as per their roll number, and not in any random order.

To get a better idea, they can check the mock test available at the AP ICET 2018 official website.

Test timing: The duration of the test is 2.5 hours, from 10 AM to 12.30 PM and 2.30 PM to 5 PM. The candidates have to take their respective seats before 10 AM, and they won’t be allowed to leave the centre before 12.30 PM. Even if you complete your exam prior to 2.5 hours, you will not be allowed to leave the test hall.

Test structure

The exam pattern of AP ICET 2018 includes 200 objective type multiple choice questions divided into three sections, Analytical Ability, Mathematical Ability and Communication Ability. The questions will be in English as well as Telugu, and the candidates can opt for either of the languages except for the Communication Ability, which must be attempted in English only.

Check the detailed exam pattern and structure in the following table.

AP ICET 2018 Exam Pattern
