IIM Sambalpur, Odisha is the 18th IIM to have announced the admission for the academic year 2015-17. IIM Indore, the mentor institute has announced the information on IIM Sambalpur. As per the mentor institute, the session of the first academic year will commence from September, 2015.
IIM Sambalpur will start its first batch on September 2015. The tuition fee for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) will be Rs. 10 lakh for 2 years. Till the time the faculty members are recruited, IIM Indore professors will teach at IIM Sambalpur. The total number of intakes for the first batch will be 60.

The qualifying candidates will be selected on the basis of the scores obtained in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Those who had appeared for the CAP rounds conducted by IIM Udaipur need not participate in any more WAT-PI rounds.

IIM Indore mentions, “All students will get accommodation with spacious rooms and sufficient furniture. The hostel is in the vicinity of the first year classroom.”

The CAT cutoff for NIAM Jaipur is mostly around 65- 70 percentile. The CMAT cutoff is around 45- 50 percentile.
But the CAT/ CMAT percentile has only 20% weightage in the selection process. You also have essay writing and group discussion which carry 20% weightage each. The personal interview carries 30% weightage along with 5% weightage of extempore or micro presentation and 5% of work experience. Hope it helps.

Scholarships will be given based on merit based and not every institute provides scholarships .

The cutoff of CAT exam for admission in Nirma University, Ahmedabad is usually around 80 percentile. Hence I am sorry to say that securing a seat in Nirma University would not be possible.
Although there are many other MBA colleges that accept 60 to 70 percentile. I have listed some of the colleges below:
1. Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad and Noida
2. Doon Business School, Dehradun
3. IBS Business School, Bangalore
4. School of Management Studies, University of Hyderabad
5. Amrut Mody School of Management, Ahmedabad
