NMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024: The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the conducting body of NMAT 2024 prescribed the eligibility criteria for NMAT by GMAC 2024. Candidates need to fulfil eligibility requirements before applying for the NMAT 2024. The basic NMAT eligibility criteria 2024 are that a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks from any recognised university or institute. NMAT Eligibility Criteria 2024
The final-year students of graduation are also eligible to apply for NMAT. There is no age bar for applying for NMAT by GMAC exam. Candidates willing to appear for the NMAT exam 2024 must adhere to the NMAT exam eligibility mentioned by GMAC. Only eligible candidates can fill out the NMAT application form 2024.
The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) released the NMAT registration form on August 1, 2024. Interested candidates registered for the NMAT 2024 exam online on the official website of NMAT by GMAC can attend the test. The NMAT 2024 registration window was closed on October 13, 2024. Only those who fulfil these requirements will be able to schedule their NMAT 2024 exam date, location, and section order. Only those who fulfil these requirements will be allowed to appear for the NMAT 2024 exam.

NMAT Eligibility Criteria for International Students
The NMAT rules for international students are as follows.
Qualification - International candidates must have completed their bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
Marks - They need to have secured at least 50% marks in their bachelor's degree.
English Proficiency - International applicants from non-English speaking countries should have proficiency in English. They might need to provide TOEFL or IELTS scores to demonstrate their language skills.
No Age Limit - There is no specific age limit for international candidates applying for NMAT.

NMAT Requirements 2024
Apart from meeting the NMAT eligibility criteria 2024, candidates also need to fulfill the NMAT requirements 2024 for registration and exam-taking. The NMAT requirements for 2024 include:
- Creating an account on the official website of NMAT by GMAC using a valid email ID and phone number
- Filling out the NMAT application form 2024 with personal, academic, and work details
- Selecting up to five preferred B-schools where the NMAT score can be sent
- Uploading a recent passport-size photograph in JPG/JPEG or PNG format
- Paying the NMAT registration fee of Rs. 2800 (plus taxes) online through credit card, debit card, net banking, or mobile wallets.
- Scheduling the NMAT exam date 2024, time, and location from the available slots
- Downloading the NMAT admit card 2024 and carrying it along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre

NMAT Application Form 2024
For NMAT registration, the candidates have to create an NMAT registration account by using their email ID. After which, the candidates have to provide their details and preferences and have to upload their recent photographs. The NMAT 2024 registration fee is Rs. 2800 + applicable taxes, and for late registration, the amount is Rs. 3300. This fee is tentative and may vary for 2024.
Steps to Fill NMAT 2024 Application Form
Visit the official website for NMAT 2024 registration, nmat.org
Click on the ‘Register Now' link hovering on the homepage if you are a first-time applicant
Fill in basic details such as name, phone number, and email ID, and click on the 'Register' button. After registration, candidates will receive their user ID and password in the registered email ID and phone number
Log in to the account created using the user ID and password and fill in academic details, personal details, work experience, etc. in the NMAT application form
Select up to five B-schools as your preference where NMAT by GMAC can send scores for the NMAT selection process using the 'School Preference' section
Upload a scanned copy of a passport-size photograph of not more than 1 MB and the file should be in JPG / JPEG or PNG format.
Select the exam-taking option, which will soon be updated as the authority releases the official notice
Pay the NMAT registration fee using any of the following options - Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, VISA, and Mobile Wallets
Book the exam slot and download the NMAT admit card

SP Jain Institute of Management and Research offers two-year, full-time PGDM , PGDM-BM, 18 months PGPM and Global Management programme. Admission to the PGDM, PGDM BM and PGPM programmes is made through the CAT and GMAT scores only. SPJIMR does not accept the NMAT scores for admission to these programmes. However, if you want to apply for the Global Management programme, then you can apply for admission through the NMAT scores along with CAT/ XAT / GRE/ GMAT scores.

When you sit for NMAT, it does take a strict process of identity verification. That can be done as follows:
- Keep valid ID proof with your signature on it such as your passport or PAN card, etc. ID issued by the government with your photo and signature would be considered acceptable. The same will be cross-checked at the time of reaching the test center.
- Digital Signature: These days, their digital signature is quite abundantly collected through the check-in process, which is made on a digital pad or on a device.
- Manual Signature: They may at times ask for your manual signature on an attendance sheet, as proof of your presence during the test.
However, kindly refer to the guidelines by the NMAT exam authorities or the test center for specific information.

MAT and NMAT are both entrance exams conducted for admission into management program in India. While there maybe some overlap in terms of the general aptitude & reasoning sections, it's important to note that they are conducted by different bodies and have different focuses.
MAT covers sections like language comprehension, Mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, and India and Global environment.
NMAT on the other hand, focuses on language skills, Quantitative analysis and logical reasoning.
MAT is conducted in either paper based or computer based but, NMAT is only computer based.
MAT scores are accepted by wide range of management schools across India. While NMAT score are primarily used for admission into NMIMS, and some other institutions.
Given these differences, it's advisable to study separately for each exam.
