IGNOU MBA Admissions 2025 will be based on the candidate’s eligibility fulfilment without any entrance test. Earlier, IGNOU online MBA Admission was conducted based on a university-level entrance test, OPENMAT MBA, and the candidates were selected for an MBA from IGNOU based on their cutoff of OPENMAT. Now, the candidates can apply for IGNOU MBA and MBA (Banking and Finance) programmes if they meet the required criteria.

The IGNOU MBA admission 2025 date for the application process for MBA courses 2025 is as follows: The registration for the IGNOU MBA and MBA (Banking and Finance) for the January session has begun in December 2024. Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU MBA Admissions 2025

The IGNOU MBA eligibility criteria are the requirements that candidates have to meet before applying for the programme. • Age limit: You can apply for IGNOU MBA courses at any age. There is no age restriction for admission.
• Entrance Test: You do not need to take any entrance test to apply for the MBA programme for 2025. However, this may change in the future, so you should keep yourself updated by visiting the official website of IGNOU.
• Qualification: You should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in aggregate. You should also have at least three years of managerial or supervisory experience in any sector.

Note that IGNOU does not take CAT/ MAT/ CMAT scores for providing admission to candidates; hence, all candidates must meet the eligibility criteria if they wish to be admission. Given below is a step-by-step process that can be used by candidates to fill out the IGNOU MBA admissions 2025 registration form:

• Step 1 - Visit the official website, ignou.ac.in.
• Step 2 - Register by filling in basic information
• Step 3 - Note the system-generated “Application Number”
• Step 4 - Enter the personal and academic details
• Step 5 - Upload the required documents
• Step 6 - Pay the application form fees
• Step 7 - Download and take a printout of the IGNOU MBA application form for future reference purposes

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU

To fill the application form for IGNOU MBA 2025, candidates are advised to visit the official website of IGNOU. Then, click on “Online Admission System” and select the desired programme from the list of programmes offered by IGNOU. After that, you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 2 - Fill in the basic information to generate the application number

If you are registering for the first time, you should click on the “Register Yourself” button to create a user account. You will need to fill in some basic information such as your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. You will receive a registration ID and password after completing this step. You should use them to log in to your account and proceed to the next step.

After logging in with the registration ID and password, candidates need to fill in the following details::

• Permanent address and mailing address
• Academic details
• Selection of category

Step 4 - Upload documents as per specifications

In this step, candidates need to upload scanned copies of their documents such as photograph, signature, age proof, educational certificates, experience certificate, category certificate, etc. The documents should be uploaded according to the specifications given on the website. The applications that have incomplete or incorrect documents will be rejected by the authorities. Also, the IGNOU MBA 2025 admissions application form should have a photograph of the candidate.

Pay the application form fees To complete the application process for IGNOU MBA admissions 2025, you need to pay the application fee online. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee details are as follows:

IGNOU MBA Fee Structure 2025-27

IGNOU offers a two-year MBA programme that consists of 28 courses and has five specializations to choose from. IGNOU MBA Admission is done based on the eligibility criteria and the availability of seats. There is no entrance test for admission to MBA programme for 2025. The fee structure for the MBA programme is as follows:

• The total fee for the MBA programme is Rs. 62,500/-.
• The fee per semester is Rs. 15,500/-.
• The fee per course is Rs. 1500/-.
• The registration fee is Rs. 300/- (non-refundable) and has to be paid at the time of admission along with the first semester fee.
• The fee structure may vary depending on the specialization and mode of study chosen by the student.

IGNOU MBA Course Fee Refund Policy

The fee that you pay for the MBA programme is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. You cannot use it for any other programme offered by this University. However, if the University rejects your admission, you will get back your fee after deducting the processing fee, if any. The refund will be made through a cheque in your name only.

IGNOU MBA entrance exam 2025

For admission to the IGNOU MBA course 2025-27, the candidates do not need to prepare for any entrance exam, as there will be direct admission for the eligible candidates. The university will not be conducting any entrance exams for 2025. Therefore, they have just asked the students to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria to be admission to the IGNOU MBA course.
