XAT 2025 exam will be conducted on Sunday, January 5, 2025. The XAT 2025 application window opened on July 15, 2024. Candidates must register for XAT 2025 by filling out the online XAT 2025 application form and paying the required fee in online mode at xatonline.in by November 30, 2024. XAT exam 2025 will be conducted in a single session at 100+ test centres across India. The XAT exam duration is 3.5 hours, and the mode of XAT 2025 is a computer-based test (CBT).

XAT 2025 Exam - Key Highlights
XLRI officially announced the XAT 2025 exam date on its official XAT website. The XAT exam 2025 is a national-level entrance exam. Every year, more than 1 lakh candidates apply for the XAT exam. The XAT 2025 score will be accepted by about 1000 B-schools of India for MBA admission at 160+ XAT colleges.
Candidates will be selected for MBA admission in the GD/PI round following XAT 2025. XLRI will conduct the GD/PI round in February/March 2025. Other XAT accepting colleges will conduct admissions in May/June 2025. Scroll down for details on the XAT 2025 entrance exam.

XAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria
XLRI Jamshedpur has specified the following eligibility criteria for XAT 2025:
- A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, with a minimum duration of three years or its equivalent in any discipline.
- Final-year Bachelor's degree students awaiting their results are also eligible.
- There is no minimum marks requirement or age limit as per the XAT 2025 eligibility criteria.
XAT 2025 Registration Process
XLRI started XAT registration on July 15, 2024. Candidates can check out the steps to register for XAT 2025:
- Visit the official XAT website, xatonline.in and click on the "register tab".
- Create a new account to receive the XAT ID and registration link
- Set a XAT 2025 login password.
- Login and select preferred exam city for XAT 2025
- Upload photograph and signature.
- Select nationality, programmes and fill in the required details
- Pay XAT 2025 fee and submit
XAT 2025 Exam Pattern
As per the latest XAT exam pattern, there are total 5 sections - verbal ability and logical reasoning, decision-making, quantitative aptitude and data interpretation, general knowledge and analytical essay writing. XAT 2025 duration will be 3.30 hours. XAT 2025 question paper is expected to have 104 questions.

XAT 2025 Marking Scheme
The scores will be calculated based on the XAT 2025 marking scheme given below:
- +1 mark for a correct answer
- - 0.25 marks for incorrect answer
- - 0.10 marks for more than 8 un-attempted consecutive questions
- No XAT negative marking scheme in the GK section
XAT 2025 Syllabus
XAT syllabus is not released officially by the exam conducting body. However, it is a compilation of topics that have been asked in the XAT exam over the years. Below is the XAT 2025 syllabus and the candidates must prepare accordingly.

XAT 2025 Exam Analysis
As per the XAT exam analysis of previous year papers, the XAT 2025 exam is expected to be moderately difficult. The XAT 2025 analysis will be made available after the exam based on the feedback of students and experts. Candidates will be able to check an in-depth XAT 2025 analysis on Careers360’s YouTube channel via live coverage done from the XAT 2025 exam centre.
XAT 2025 Response Sheet and Answer Key
The XAT response sheet along with the XAT answer key is usually released 3-4 days after the exam. Students will be able to download their XAT 2025 answer key and recorded responses at the official website of XAT - xatonline.in. A memory-based XAT 2025 answer key will also be made available to the candidates by Careers360.

XLRI Jamshedpur is expected to release the XAT 2025 result in the last week of January 2025. The authorities release the XAT result date in its official notification and usually is January 31. 1. What is the fee for XAT exam 2025?
The application fee for XAT 2025 is Rs 2,200. Those who will opt for XLRI programs need to pay an additional fee of Rs 200 each.
2. Is XAT conducted twice a year?
No, the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT exam) is held once a year in Computer Based (CBT) mode and there is no limitation to appear for the XAT entrance exam.
3. Can I crack XAT in 5 months?
Ideally, XAT exam preparation requires six to nine months, but a candidate who will appear for CAT exam can cover the entire XAT syllabus and prepare for the same in 5 months.
4. Is XAT easier than CAT?
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is considered to be more challenging as compared to CAT in few aspects such as- XAT exam pattern- XAT has more varied paper pattern as compared to CAT. Also, XAT exam has an additional section of Essay Writing, General Knowledge, and decision-making.
5. Is XLRI better than IIM?
XLRI is one of the best B-schools in Indian but it is not better that the old IIMs, as XLRI have an edge of diversity in courses, opportunities, and exposure.
6. Do XLRI accept CAT score?
No, XLRI does not accept CAT score, XLRI only accepts XAT score to offer admission into MBA program.
7. Which level of XAT is difficult?

8. Does XIMB accept CAT scores?

Seeing your marks, it is evident you are good in academics. Thus, you can get into a good MBA college but mind you, it won't be easy because there are thousands of students who are as good as you, if not better. MBA colleges do not choose candidates solely based on academic performance, although it has a big weightage in their selection process. They test your presence of mind, intellect, and communication skills through Group Discussions and Interviews.
The safest way to get into a good MBA college is to score 96-97+ percentile and do really well in GD and PI. Top MBA colleges in India are IIMs, XISS (Ranchi), TISS, Delhi School of Business, and Symbiosis.
