CAT Important DatesCAT Important Dates 2017: IIM Lucknow has released the result of CAT 2017. Candidates can use their registered CAT id and password to check their CAT 2017 result. All the important dates related to CAT 2017 were announced on July 29, 2017. According to the important dates of CAT 2017, CAT admit card 2017 was available from October 25, 2017. Only those candidates were able to download the CAT admit card who successfully submitted the application form of CAT. The entrance exam was held on November 26, 2017 at various centres across the country. The application for CAT 2017 started on August 9 and ended on September 25, 2017. Now let us take a look at the above-mentioned events of CAT 2017 in detail.

 

CAT 2017 Application: The application form of CAT 2017 was made available only in online mode on August 9, 2017. Aspirants had to visit the official website of CAT 2017 in order to register and apply. Upon registering, CAT 2017 authorities will provide the login credentials to the candidates, through which they have to log in and complete the application process by uploading a photograph, signature and other necessary documents and payment of application fee. Limited opportunity to edit the application process had started from September 27 to 30, 2017. The last date of application was September 25, 2017.

 

CAT 2017 Admit Card: The admit card for CAT 2017 was released on October 25, 2017. Candidates had to visit the official CAT website and login through their registered credentials in order to download the admit card.

 

CAT 2017 Exam date: Till 2015, CAT was being conducted in the month of November. Last year, the test date was postponed to first Sunday of December, which was December 4, 2016. CAT 2017 exam date is November 26, 2017 (2 sessions).

 

CAT 2017 Result: The result of CAT 2017 has been declared January 8, 2018. The date of CAT 2016 result was January 9, 2017. The result date of CAT 2015 was January 8. 

 

CAT 2017 Selection Procedure: The selection procedure at IIMs including Writing Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD) and (PI) will be conducted from March-May. The schedule for the selection procedure at non-IIM B-schools are conducted from April to June. The courses commence from July.

 

This year, around 2,31,000 candidates had applied for the test. Around 4,000 seats are offered by 20 IIMs. Apart from IIMs, over 100 B-schools across India, both from private as well as public ownership accept CAT scores for admission to their flagship management programmes.

Yeah ... surely you get ,but 10th and 12th marks matter a lot ... so you will have to get more marks in cat exam to cover those .
