For this purpose, its new B-school called the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) has been set up to impart management training to MBA aspirants. Located in Delhi NCR, the B-school holds a great advantage in terms of sharing synergy owing to its proximity to top B-schools like IIT-Delhi, IIFT, IMI, FMS, and University of Delhi. JNU MBA 2019 - Eligibility criteria
For admission in the MBA programme, the candidates must have the following qualifications-
Candidates must have obtained a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification must entail a minimum of 3 years of education after completing higher secondary (10+2) or equivalent.
General Category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.
OBC candidates need to have a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.
SC/ST/PWD candidates require a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply. Selected candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate by certain date (to be decided by the University in due course).

JNU MBA Admission Process
For admission in the MBA programme, the following procedure will be taken up-
Filling the online application form of JNU MBA 2019
Submit CAT Registration Number
Upon getting shortlisted on the basis of CAT 2018 score, candidates will be summoned for interview.
Generation of final merit list of students who have qualified for admission in JNU MBA, followed by payment of programme fees.

The application form for JNU MBA 2019 was available from January 20 and the last date for filling it was March 1.
How To fill JNU MBA Application Form 2019?
Candidates should first fill in the online application form on the JNU website.
Application Fees: The following application fees (non-refundable) must be paid for the MBA programme at Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship, JNU, while filling the application form-
General Category and OBC applicants. - Rs. 2000
SC/ST/PwD applicants - Rs. 1000
Submit his/her CAT 2018 Test Registration Number.
On the basis of CAT scores, JNU will shortlist the candidates for the MBA programme.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. At least three times the number of intake in each category would be shortlisted for interviews.
The final list of selected candidates will be based on CAT scores and the marks obtained in the interview. The weightage for selection in MBA at ABVSME, JNU will be as follows-
CAT scores- 70%
Marks obtained in the interviews- 30%.
JNU MBA Seats
JNU MBA programme will have an intake of 50. The institute will admit these 50 students on the basis of their CAT score for its MBA programme 2019-21. Owing to the small batch size, students will able to explore and experience better in the two-year programme. Until now, the number of JNU MBA seats is fixed but it is expected to increase as per the university notification.

JNU MBA Selection Process
For the admission in MBA at JNU, candidates need to clear the two-stage selection process.
1. CAT Score
Candidates must have appeared for the Common Admission Test (CAT). It is essential for the students to submit CAT registration Number and scorecard at the time of filling the application form of JNU.

For the admission in Jawaharlal Nehru University the candidate has to appear for the Common Aptitude Test (CAT.) conducted by IIM's.
JNU uses the CAT score for short-listing the candidates for the MBA program.The candidates will have personal interview and the selected candidates will be selected on the performance in CAT which is taken as 70% and in the performance in interview which is 30% considered.
The candidate must have minimum of three years of bachelor degree with minimum of 60 % or 55% for reserved categories like OBC quota. The students applying under PWD/SC/ST quota further get relaxation .the minimum requirement of marks in bachelors degree is 45 percentage.
The candidates one who has appeared for their final year bachelors exam and are waiting for the results can also appear for the MBA program. Such candidates has to submit the required documents for the college.
