JNU MBA Admission - The maiden programme (AVBSME) of JNU released the online application form for admission for the academic session 2019-20 on January 20 and the last date for filling the form was March 1, 2019. One of the most coveted educational institutes, Jawaharlal Nehru University has included management studies in the plethora of academic programmes from the current year (2019) onwards. The full-time two-year MBA programme has been named Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (AVBSME) and will cover management and entrepreneurship as integrated processes that will help students develop a holistic view and respond effectively to changes in the economic, technological, cultural and political situations. In order to complete the programme, all management students must earn a minimum of 112-credit points as per UGC regulations during the course at ABVSME, JNU. JNU MBA Admission 2019 - Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants should meet the following eligibility parameters to apply for admission to the MBA programme offered by JNU -
Candidates must obtain a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent awarded by any of the recognised universities other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament. The bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification of the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary studies (10+2) or equivalent.
General Category candidates should obtain a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
However, the OBC candidates need to secure a minimum of 55 percent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
SC/ST/PWD candidates need to obtain a minimum of 45 percent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
Final year candidates of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can apply as well. If selected, such candidates will be permitted to join the programme provisionally, only if they submit a certificate within the stipulated date (to be decided by the University).

How to fill the JNU MBA application form?
Candidates need to visit the website (jnu.ac.in/admission) or click on the link given above to start filling the JNU MBA application form 2019 in online mode.
Register by entering candidates’ Full Name, Mobile Number, Email and Password
A link would be sent to the mentioned email ID and aspirants need to click and activate the web account.
Aspirants would require to login using the registered email ID and password.
Then fill the accurate academic, personal, academic, and professional information.
Filling the form will not be complete without uploading photos, certificates, mark sheets, as required by JNU.
Applicants must complete the application by paying the stipulated fee in online mode

JNU MBA Admission Process
Aspirants interested in pursuing MBA at JNU should follow the procedure mentioned below-
Firstly, aspirants should apply online on the JNU website (jnu.ac.in)
Only applicants who have appeared and qualified CAT 2018 will be shortlisted and then called for an interview.
At least three times the number of intake in each category would be shortlisted for interview sessions.
The final selection of candidates will be based on CAT 2018 result/score and the marks obtained in the interview (PI). The weightage on CAT scores shall be 70 percent and the weightage of marks obtained in the interviews shall be 30 percent.
Please note - ABVSME, JNU, would select 50 students each year for its JNU MBA programme.

IIMs will have no role either in the selection procedure or in the conduct of the programme. Candidates who will apply to the MBA programme of ABVSME, JNU, within the stipulated date; on qualifying CAT 2018 will be shortlisted and invited for next the interview procedure. Since MBA is a professional course, no additional deprivation points (applicable to some other JNU courses) will be taken into consideration for admission to ABVSME.
