JNU MBA Admission 2020 - Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) will offer MBA admission to Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME), tentatively from the third week of January 2020. JNU MBA admission 2020 will depend on the CAT score of the candidates. The application procedure for JNU MBA 2020 admission will be started after the announcement of CAT result 2019. Before filling the application form, candidates must read eligibility criteria of JNU for MBA programme. Candidates are offered admission to the various programs based on their performance in CAT entrance exam and the marks obtained in the interview. The weightage on CAT scores shall be 70% and the weightage of marks obtained in the interviews shall be 30%. The first batch was accommodated 50 students for the MBA programme. CAT 2019 score will be held for shortlisted candidates for further interview rounds. Candidates meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for admission to the MBA programme offered by JNU:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent granted by any of the recognised universities other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament.
The bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree of the candidate must have a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary studies (10+2) or equivalent.
General Category candidates should obtain a minimum of 60 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
However, the OBC candidates need to secure a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
SC/ST/PWD candidates need to obtain a minimum of 45 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree.
Final year candidates of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can apply as well. If selected, such candidates will be permitted to join the programme provisionally, only if they submit a certificate within the stipulated date (to be decided by the University).
After the declaration of CAT 2019 results, the authority will release the application form of JNU MBA 2020. The application procedure will be started from third week of January in online mode and can be filled by CAT 2019 qualified candidates only. The last date of application form will be the first week of March.
The application form filling process will include steps which are given below:
Step 1: Registration
Firstly, go to the official website of JNU. Click on the link to start filling the JNU MBA application form 2020 in online mode. Register by entering the details like

Note: A link would be sent to the registered email ID and candidates need to click and activate the web account.
Step 2: Filling the Application form
Candidates would require to login using the registered email ID and password. Then fill the academic details, personal details and professional information.
Step 3: Upload Image and Signature After filling the application form of JNU, candidates need to upload their photos, signature, certificates, mark sheets, as required by JNU.
Step 4: Payment
Candidates must complete the application form by paying the specified fee in online mode.

Candidates applying for JNU MBA 2020 need to be clear about the selection process which is mentioned below:
JNU will use CAT 2019 scores for shortlisting the candidates for the MBA programme. IIMs have no involve either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
Common Admission Test (CAT), 2019 scores will be used for shortlisting candidates for interviews for admission in the MBA programme of ABVSME, JNU.
The final list of selected candidates will be based on CAT scores and the marks obtained in the interview. The weightage on CAT scores shall be 70% and the weightage of marks obtained in the interviews shall be 30%.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) releases the final merit list of the selected candidates for admission based on their CAT scores. Candidates can check the merit list on the official website of JNU website. Candidates must note that the names in the list appear as per the availability of the seats.
Candidates qualifying JNU MBA 2019 will be called for the selection process. For this session, the selection process will be conducted at Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME) campus. The round will begin after the declaration of CAT 2019 Result. As per the JNU MBA 2020 selection process, the final merit list of selected candidates will be based on the CAT 2019 score. The weightage on CAT scores shall be 70 per cent and the weightage of marks obtained in the interviews shall be 30 per cent. On the basis of a candidate’s overall performance, a final merit list will be formed containing names of all the selected candidates.
