I’m Yogesh Poddar, an MBA graduate from IBS Dehradun, currently working with HCL Technologies. The most valuable skills I gained include problem-solving, adaptability, and strong communication. The habit of working collaboratively and making data-driven decisions, developed during my MBA, has been instrumental in my current role.

Initially, managing multiple projects, presentations, and academic commitments was challenging. However, with consistent guidance from faculty and effective planning, I learned to balance priorities efficiently and deliver my best.

Definitely. I would be glad to mentor current students, share my professional experiences, and contribute to alumni interactions that add value to the IBS community.
Careers360: As a professional, how would you advise a student to plan a career, keeping in mind changes and upheavals in the industry?
Students should remain flexible, continuously learn new skills, and stay updated with industry trends. Building strong networking and problem-solving abilities is key to adapting and thriving in today’s evolving business world.
Careers360: Learning never ends for any professional. In this context, how do you think one should prepare for career advancement with value additions? How can students identify these areas?
Continuous learning through certifications, workshops, and industry interactions is essential. Students should evaluate their strengths and interests, then align them with current market needs to identify areas for meaningful value addition.

If you don't want to go for the IBS Ahmedabad then you can get admitted to the IBS Dehradun. There is no such mandatory thing to go for IBS Ahmedabad if its get cleared.

After IBS Hyderabad, your Second Option must be IBS Mumbai, but incase you dont get that IBS Dehradun may be a good choice. Being part of the ICFAI University, the College provides effective management education besides providing standard placements.
