TS ICET Day 1 Exam Analysis: Section-wise Analysis
The TG ICET exam analysis 2025 of day 1 will help the candidates to uncover a lot of essential TG ICET exam insights, and one of the most important among those is the TS ICET section-wise analysis. TG ICET Exam Day Analysis Day 1: Mathematical Ability Section:
Based on previous year TG ICET exam trends, the Mathematical Ability section is considered to be the most challenging, with moderate to difficult-level questions. This section normally covers arithmetic (including percentages, profit-loss, and time-work), algebra (including equations and inequalities), geometry (including areas, volumes, and coordinate geometry), data interpretation (including charts and graphs), and other topics such as probability and statistics. Going through the important TG ICET Mathematical ability questions is important for preparing well for this section.
The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to slightly difficult. This section was more difficult than the previous year.
The TG ICET 2025 day 1 analysis of the mathematical ability section revealed that it had a lot of questions which were of time-consuming and challenging nature.
The TG ICET 2025 day 1 analysis also indicated that there were straightforward questions asked under the statistical ability section of the Mathematical ability section. These 10 questions asked from topics such as mean, median, mode and probability required the direct application of formulas only.
The section had 35 questions from Arithmetical Ability, 30 from Algebraic and Geometric Ability, and 10 from Statistical Ability. The Arithmetical Ability and Algebraic and Geometric Ability were complex in nature and time-consuming.
The TG ICET 2025 question paper started with the Arithmetic section, which had a heavy focus on number system-based questions. But there was no sectional time limit or any such restrictions.
Other important topics included indices and surds, simplification, ratio and proportion, cost price and selling price, mensuration, time and work, and time-speed-distance.
The TG ICET 2025 question paper analysis also reported that the questions from the surds and indices topics were more difficult to solve in comparision with the other topics.
Algebra and Geometry questions were mainly asked from polynomials, common solutions, arithmetic and geometric progressions (AP/GP), and trigonometry.
Some questions involved applications of height and distance, while others tested understanding of lines and angles, circles, quadrilaterals, and coordinate geometry (like distance between points and slope of lines).
The Statistical Ability section included basic questions on mean, median, mode, and simple probability. Those were simple and easily solve-able.
A mix of straightforward formula-based problems and those requiring logical thinking was observed in this section.
TG ICET Exam Day Analysis Day 1: Analytical Ability Section:
The Analytical Ability section typically maintains a moderate difficulty level with good scoring opportunities for candidates with effective TS ICET 2025 preparation. This section covers logical reasoning (series, coding-decoding, blood relations, and direction sense), analytical puzzles (seating arrangements and ranking), data sufficiency questions, and verbal reasoning (critical thinking and assumptions). It is advised that the candidates go through the important TG ICET analytical ability topics to enhance their preparation.
This section followed the same structure as previous years' papers.
It was divided into two parts: Data Sufficiency (20 questions) and Problem Solving (55 questions).
Data Sufficiency questions covered number systems, quantitative aptitude, and basic logical reasoning.
A significant number of questions were based on series completion, including numeric, alphabetic, and alphanumeric patterns.
Other topics included odd one out, analogy, missing numbers, and coding-decoding. According to the TG ICET analysis day 1, the questions were of extreme difficulty. While a couple of questions were very easy, the other questions were very difficult as per the TS ICET 2025 question paper day 1 analysis.
The Data Interpretation questions were time consuming. The candidates were asked one DI question on pie charts which included 2 pie charts. Solving this question was more difficult when compared with the others.
The difficulty level was moderate overall, though some series and data sufficiency questions required deeper thinking.
The section ended with time, date, and arrangement-related questions.
TG ICET Exam Day Analysis Day 1: Communication Ability Section:
The Communication Ability section is usually the easiest, offering excellent scoring opportunities for students with basic to moderate English knowledge. This section includes reading comprehension (passages with direct questions), grammar (error identification and sentence improvement), vocabulary (synonyms, antonyms, and one-word substitutions), and verbal ability (para jumbles and sentence completion). Having an idea of the important TG ICET communication ability tips can also be very helpful for the candidates.
This section was found to be the easiest among the three by most candidates.
Questions were asked from topics such as synonyms, antonyms, verbs, business terminology, and computer-related terms.
Both the synonyms and antonyms questions were comparatively easier than the other sections of the communication ability section.
Under the communication ability section, a few questions of the computer terminology section was repeated this year as well as reported by the candidates.
The reading comprehension part included 3 passages with 5 questions each, totaling 15 RC questions.
10 questions were asked collectively from business and computer communication topics.
Most questions in this section were direct and of easy to moderate difficulty, making it more scoring for well-prepared candidates.

Thanks for your question. Based on your TS ICET 2025 rank of 6000 and the fact that you're from the BC-B girl category, you do have a fair chance to get a seat in VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology (VNR VJIET) for MCA.
In previous years, BCB girl candidates with ranks around 5000–7000 have been able to secure seats in good colleges like VNR, especially in later counselling phases or spot rounds. VNR is one of the better colleges in Telangana for MCA, so the cutoff can vary slightly based on demand that year. Since you're from a reserved category and female, you get the benefit of category and gender-based reservation which improves your chances.
I would strongly suggest participating in Phase 2 of counselling, keeping VNR as a top choice, and also adding a few backup colleges just in case. You can also keep an eye out for spot admissions where vacancies are filled quickly.

Yes ,with your TS ICET rank of 3168 in the BC-B female category you have a good chance of getting an MCA seat at CBIT. since their cut-offs have gone upto 6,000 above in recent years. However,seat allotment may vary based on seat availability, number of applicants and reservation policy .so,It's wise to fill in plenty of options and attend councelling as per the schedule to secure the best possible seat.

You have a decent chance for MCA at CBIT,but it's not guaranteed. MCA seats at CBIT are limited and cut-offs vary each year. In previous years the cutoff have been around 4,000 - 6,500. but,various factors like competition,seat availability, reservation affect chances each year .
Attend counsellings,keep backup options,stay flexible with choices and also consider management quota if you strongly prefer CBIT.
