MICAT exam pattern 2026 includes three sections of different natures. The MICAT Exam includes three sections, and all three sections have a different marking scheme. The following points highlight the MICAT marking scheme.
Section A is a psychometric test and is qualifying in nature. There are no maximum marks and negative marking in this section of the MICAT exam.
The descriptive test is Section B of the MICAT examination. Section B contains 4 questions with a maximum of 70 marks and no negative marking.
You will get 1 mark for each correct option in Section C of the MICAT exam. Irrespective of other sections, Section C has a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
Candidates are advised to select options with keen observation and not attempt if they are unsure about the answer. Unattempted questions will not attract any negative marks.
The MICAT exam is divided into three sections. The MICAT exam 2026 is around 2 hours and 15 minutes with sectional time limits. Candidates appearing for MICAT get a total of 30 minutes for the psychometric test, 25 minutes to attempt 4 questions of the descriptive test, while Section C has 80 minutes of duration to attempt the specific section.

On February 17, 2022, MICA, Ahmedabad, announced the MICAT 2022 result for phase 2 on mica.ac.in. Using their login credentials, candidates may check the MICAT 2022 phase 2 result. MICAT result 2022 has been emailed to applicants' registered email addresses, and students who took the entrance exam can now verify their qualifying status.
To check the result, follow the below mentioned steps:
Visit MICA Ahmedabad's main website at mica.ac.in.
Select "MICAT 1 Result" from the drop-down menu.
On the screen, a candidate login window will display.
Click the "Login" tab after entering the user ID and password.
Download the MICAT scorecard 2022 and check your qualifying status.
