About: Rungta Educational Foundation was established in 1999 with the establishment of its first college, RCET located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. Q. Tell us something about yourself such as from which place are you from?

A: I am Nisha Singh Shyam from Gaya.

Q. Presently which course are you pursuing and in which year are you?

A: I am pursuing BBA programme (Semester II) at Rungta Educational Foundation.

Q. Did you face any difficulty in the initial months when you joined Rungta Educational Foundation?

A: I was quite scared coming to a completely new place while knowing so little about it. But the support staff and my batch mates were super-friendly and within a few weeks, we got used to the area and nearby spots. Now, we can guide anyone new about the surrounding area.

Q. What activities are offered in Rungta Educational Foundation? Are there any clubs etc for the various extracurricular activities? Which ones have you taken up and are a part of?

A: At Rungta R1, we have an incredible range of sports and cultural activities to dive into. From top-notch facilities for various sports to a fully equipped gym and 16 vibrant cultural clubs, there's never a dull moment.

Q. Describe a typical day at Rungta Educational Foundation - what do you do from the time you wake up till you go to sleep?

A: My college day is almost jam-packed every day and exciting at the same time from dawn till dusk. The adrenaline kicks in as my classmates and I gear up for a day filled with fascinating lectures and practical sessions with our incredible faculty members. When noon rolls around, we all gather at the cafeteria/mess for some delicious snacks, hang around, and catch up with friends. After our afternoon sessions, it's time for some exhilarating activities like sports, entertainment, and exploring the bustling market. Finally, it’s back to the room to freshen up before dinner with friends at the cafeteria/ mess. After dinner, I dive into revising the day's lectures or prepping for the next day's project/assignment before finally hitting the hay. It's an amazing ride, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Q. Tell us about the faculty-student ratio at Rungta Educational Foundation and about the teacher-student relationship in your understanding.

A: At Rungta R1, there’s a perfect balance between faculty and students. The goal is to ensure that every student receives personalised attention and unwavering support. • Setting Goals: Breaking down larger tasks into smaller, manageable goals helps maintain focus and track progress effectively.

• Prioritisation: Identifying high-priority tasks such as exams or important projects and allocating time accordingly.

• Effective Studying: Adopting study techniques that work best, like active recall, summarising notes, and practising past exams.

• Utilising Resources: Taking advantage of campus facilities, like libraries, study spaces, and academic support services, can assist in studies.

• Maintaining Balance: Allocating time for extracurricular activities, hobbies, and relaxation is also essential for a balanced lifestyle.

• Adaptability: Being flexible to adjust schedules as per academic demands, unexpected events, or personal needs.

With these strategies, I am skilfully able to juggle the academic workload while still taking part in other enriching activities to ensure a fulfilling college experience at R1.

Q. Tell us about the clubs and societies at the campus and how significant are they from your point of view or students' point of view.

A: RSDC acts as a game-changer to help students pursue their hobbies and interests and bring people together. As a club member one knows about oneself, one's interests and goals and can also add skills to their repertoire.

A: Yes, at Rungta R1, there is an in-house magazine that covers campus events and happenings. Additionally, there is a journal that focuses on research conducted by students and faculty. These publications serve to keep the campus community informed about both academic achievements and extracurricular activities.

• Campus Vaani: Published thrice in a year, the magazine of Rungta R1, reports all kinds of events that take place on the campus.

Q. What are the popular hangouts at RCET? What, according to you, are the most-visited places nearby?

A: The popular hangouts at RCET are the Cafeteria, Library, Student Lounges, Sports Facilities and Common Areas. There are places near RCET to visit such as Shiv Mandir Deobalod, Tandula Dam, Hajra Falls, Civic Centre and Bamleshwari Mandir, Dongargarh.

Q. How do you spend your leisure time at the RCET campus?

A: During my leisure time on campus, I enjoy a variety of activities depending on my mood and interests:

• Socialising: I like to hang out with friends in the cafeteria or common areas, catching up and discussing various topics.

• Sports and Fitness: Engaging in sports activities at the campus gym or outdoor fields is a great way to stay active and unwind.

• Exploring Clubs: Participating in club activities related to my interests, whether it's academic, cultural, or hobby-based.

Overall, campus life offers a diverse range of opportunities to enjoy leisure time, making it easy to balance academic pursuits with personal interests and relaxation.

Q. Do you have any Facebook page of your campus where the students express their views jokes or ideas, or maybe even a blog where they write about their experience of life at campus?

A: To the best of my knowledge, there is no specific FB page or blog dedicated to Rungta R1 students for sharing their perspectives, humor, or campus experiences. However, it's worth noting that the management is highly receptive to student feedback and takes appropriate action. There are dedicated individuals leading various cells to ensure that every student's voice is not only heard but also acknowledged. It's truly impressive to witness the management's genuine concern for our input.

Q. What type of companies come for campus recruitment and what percentage of students get placed every year? How is the recruitment process here?

A: R1 is a dynamic hub for campus recruitment, attracting a diverse range of companies from various industries looking to recruit across different functions. The array of companies and industries keen on recruiting from R1 is truly impressive. Here are some typical categories:
