A 72.5 percentile in MHT-CET (OBC) typically corresponds to a state rank of around 30,000–32,000 . With that, Computer (CS) branch in government colleges is unlikely, but you can still aim for good private or lesser-known government institutes.

MHT CET CAP round 2025 registration is expected to start in late June or early July 2025.

With 92 percentile in MHT-CET, you can easily get Mechatronics in colleges like MMIT Pune and TCET Mumbai. These colleges have lower cutoffs, so admission is likely. You can also try related branches like AI & DS or Robotics in private colleges like PCCOE, AISSMS, VIIT, etc.

Since you're a non-domicile candidate and you've appeared for both JEE and MHT CET, you should ideally apply for admission to engineering colleges in Maharashtra using your JEE Main score.

As a non-domicile (i.e., not a resident of Maharashtra), you're not eligible for seats reserved under the state quota in MHT CET. However, JEE Main is accepted for admission to the All India Quota seats in Maharashtra engineering colleges, and these seats are specifically meant for candidates from outside the state.

Many top private engineering colleges and a few government-aided institutes in Maharashtra reserve a percentage of their seats for candidates applying through JEE Main under the All India category. So, even if you’ve written MHT CET, your MHT CET score won’t be valid for state quota seats unless you hold domicile. Hence, for you, JEE Main is the right route.

Make sure to apply during the CAP (Centralized Admission Process) rounds and select colleges where All India Quota seats are available.

With 47% in 12th and 75 percentile in MHT CET, you may get admission in private colleges in Pune for BSc Biotechnology with relatively low fees, such as:

Abeda Inamdar Senior College

Modern College of Arts, Science & Commerce

PES Modern College (Shivajinagar)

Government colleges may require 50% minimum in 12th, so focus on private options.

With 80 percentile in MHT CET, some low-cost engineering colleges in Mumbai you can target are:

KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering (Self-financed quota may be high, but minority quota is lower)

Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology

Xavier Institute of Engineering

Fees vary from Rs.80,000 to Rs.1.5 lakh/year, depending on quota and category.

Dear Candidate ,
Yes you can get admission through SEBC ( Socially and educationally backward ) category during MHT CET counselling even if you filled " open " while registering , provided you have a valid SEBC caste certificate and Non - creamy layer certificate at the time of CAP counselling .

Estimated rank is approximately forty seven thousand five hundred to forty eight thousand
Strong chances are PICT and PCCOE in Pune under SEBC category
Backup options are MGM Atharva and Walchand colleges
Key step is to lock your choices early during the CAP counselling process

Dear student,

With a 91.68 percentile in MHT CET PCB and SC category, getting admission into ICT Mumbai for B.Pharm is difficult. The SC category cut-off at ICT usually stays around 95 to 97 percentile, so your score is slightly below the typical requirement. However, there’s still a small chance in later CAP rounds if cut-offs drop. Meanwhile, keep ICT as your preference but also apply to other good pharmacy colleges in Maharashtra where SC cut-offs are lower, like Poona College of Pharmacy or AISSMS. Keep checking the CAP updates and be ready with backup options.

With 89 percentile in MHT CET 2025 (PCB group) , you have good chances for:

B.Pharmacy Colleges (Top Picks):

  • Bombay College of Pharmacy, Mumbai

  • AISSMS College of Pharmacy, Pune

  • Poona College of Pharmacy, Pune

  • Dr. D.Y. Patil College of Pharmacy, Pune

  • MET Institute of Pharmacy, Mumbai

Other Courses You’re Eligible For :

  • B.Sc. Agriculture (in state universities with moderate cutoff)

  • B.Sc. Biotechnology / Nursing / Allied Health Sciences
