Yes, preparing for the 12th MHT-CET syllabus will also cover your board syllabus, since both are the same. For boards, focus more on textbook theory, diagrams and writing practice. For CET, practice MCQs and speed-based solving. Solving previous years’ board papers will boost your score. With proper balance, you can easily aim for 90%+ in boards while preparing for CET.

Hi,

With 16 percentile in MHT CET, it is very tough to get admission in top colleges in Pune for AI & Data Science (AIDS), as the cut-off for this branch is usually very high.

However, you may still get admission in low-ranked private engineering colleges through management quota or institute-level vacant seats.

Some colleges in Pune offering AI & DS are:

1. MIT World Peace University, Pune

2. DY Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri

3. Sinhgad College of Engineering, Vadgaon

4. PCCOE, Pimpri

5. JSPM’s Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering

All the best!

Hello,

Since you got admission through JEE Main rank (All India quota) , your admission is considered under the open/general category , not the state reservation (NT-C) category.

So, you need to pay the Open/General category fees , not the NT-C fees.

Hope it helps !

Hey!

You have scored 51% and want to purse BA.LLB  under Savitribai Phule University, pune. The main campus offers  BA.LLB but its cutoff is usually higher,so it may be tough with your score.

However, there are many SPPU-affiliated colleges offering BA.LLB but most of them requires higher percentile. You can add them including the main campus, just in case cutoff drops, but you should go for practical options like

PES Modern law college

MES law college

Abhinav Education Society's Law college .

These colleges usually have lower cutoffs but it may vary slightly.

the safest option is to fill maximum choices of SPPU-affiliated colleges , you may get it in later rounds though it's not guaranteed .

Hello,

Sorry, but round 1 MHT CET seat allotment has not been allotted yet. Although the expected date of this seat allotment is August 20, 2025. You can visit this official website: https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ to get updated about the release date.

I hope it will clear your query!!

With 39.36 percentile in MHT CET (OBC category), your chances in top Pune engineering colleges are very slim since most cutoffs are much higher. However, you may still find options in lower-ranked private colleges or newly established institutes where cutoffs go very low. Some Pune colleges that may still consider such percentile are:

  • JSPM Narhe Technical Campus, Pune

  • Samarth Group of Institutions, Belhe

  • Imperial College of Engineering & Research, Wagholi

  • SVPM’s College of Engineering, Malegaon (Baramati)

  • Alard College of Engineering & Management, Hinjewadi

Admission is not guaranteed, but in lower rounds or through institute-level/management quota, you may get a seat.

Considering you are from the PWD category and have scored 40 percentile in MHT CET PCB, getting admission in a government B.Pharm college in Pune will be quite difficult because the cut-off scores are generally higher, even for reserved categories.

However, you should still participate in the counselling process — sometimes seats may be available in later rounds or in less popular government colleges. Also, keep options for private colleges or government colleges in other cities as a backup

.

It's difficult to give a definitive "yes" or "no" without more specific information about your category, the colleges you're targeting, and the precise cutoff trends for the B.Des program for this year.

However, with a score of 47, your chances for top colleges might be limited, and you might need to explore options beyond your initial preferred choices in Mumbai and Pune, or consider colleges accepting lower scores. You should carefully monitor the official cutoff announcements during the counselling process.

In AP EAPCET counseling, in case you are allotted a seat in the 2nd round counseling then your seat would be automatically canceled in the 1st round only on reporting to the 2nd round seat.

This is how it goes:
Your 1st round seat will still be valid in case you do not do anything about it (i.e.  do not report or pay the 2nd round seat).

Assuming you accept the 2nd round seat (which would require payment of the fee/reporting), The 1st round seat will be cancelled, no further action is required.

Thus, the cancelation will depend on what you do. When you like your 1st round  seat, you need not bother about the 2nd around allotment.

With a 78 percentile in MHT CET, you stand a fair chance of getting into good engineering colleges in Mumbai. Some branches you can expect at this percentile include:

Information Technology (IT)

Electronics & Telecommunication (EXTC)

Mechanical Engineering

Electrical Engineering

To get accurate predictions during CAP rounds, you should use a college predictor tool. Some good colleges in Mumbai where your percentile might meet the cutoff:

Vidyalankar Institute of Technology, Wadala

KJ Somaiya Institute of Engineering and Information Technology

Atharva College of Engineering

Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College

St. Francis Institute of Technology
