Eligibility Criteria for IGNOU MBA Admissions 2025

The IGNOU MBA eligibility criteria are the requirements that candidates have to meet before applying for the programme.   • Age limit: You can apply for IGNOU MBA courses at any age. There is no age restriction for admission.
  • Entrance Test: You do not need to take any entrance test to apply for the MBA programme for 2025. However, this may change in the future, so you should keep yourself updated by visiting the official website of IGNOU.
  • Qualification: You should have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in aggregate. You should also have at least three years of managerial or supervisory experience in any sector.

Step 1: Visit the official website of IGNOU

In order to fill the application form for IGNOU MBA 2025, candidates are advised to visit the official website of IGNOU. Then, click on “Online Admission System” and select the desired programme from the list of programmes offered by IGNOU. After that, you will be redirected to a new page.

Step 2 - Fill in the basic information in order to generate the application number

If you are registering for the first time, you should click on the “Register Yourself” button to create a user account. You will need to fill in some basic information such as your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, etc. You will receive a registration ID and password after completing this step. You should use them to log in to your account and proceed to the next step.

IGNOU MBA Fee Structure 2025-27

IGNOU offers a two-year MBA programme that consists of 28 courses and has five specializations to choose from. The admission to the programme is based on the eligibility criteria and the availability of seats. There is no entrance test for admission to MBA programme for 2025. The fee structure for the MBA programme is as follows:

  • The total fee for the MBA programme is Rs. 62,500/-.
  • The fee per semester is Rs. 15,500/-.
  • The fee per course is Rs. 1500/-.
  • The registration fee is Rs. 300/- (non-refundable) and has to be paid at the time of admission along with the first semester fee.

IGNOU MBA Course Fee Refund Policy

The fee that you pay for the MBA programme is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. You cannot use it for any other programme offered by this University. However, if the University rejects your admission, you will get back your fee after deducting the processing fee, if any. The refund will be made through a cheque in your name only.

IGNOU MBA entrance exam 2025

For admission to the IGNOU MBA course 2025-27, the candidates do not need to prepare for any entrance exam, as there will be direct admission for the eligible candidates. The university will not be conducting any entrance exams for 2025. Therefore, they have just asked the students to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria to be admission to the IGNOU MBA course.

you have to prepare yourself for your b.tech exams first because its a regular course.you'd have to choose one.  IGNOU conducts exams twice a year, so you can still write it after 6 months without losing a year.

IGNOU exams are quite tough to pass.its not a cup of tea that you can pass both exams simultaneously with good marks.in case you still want to give exams give more time to the hardest one .Schedule dedicated time slots for each exam-specific subject, ensuring you cover the unique portions thoroughly.

If you have taken admission in IGNOU b.com for the June session 2021 and your course validity is upto  the year 2026.you can sit for June 2025 exam if you haven't appear for 1 subject by any reason.

A new set is released for assignment every new year, its you who has to decide when you can appear the exams upto the validity year.and thus fill the exam form after submitting  your assignments well on time(31t May & 31st Sept are last dates).
