How is the CUSAT CAT MBA 2025 Result Calculated?
The CUSAT CAT MBA result 2025 is calculated using a formula which considers both the CAT score and performance in the group discussion and interview.
The CUSAT CAT score is calculated as: using the formula: S = 3R - 1W, where S is the CAT score, R is the number of right answers, and W is the number of wrong answers.
For MBA programs (FT/PT, IB, and TT), the rank list is prepared based on the CMAT/MAT score (minimum 70%), candidate’s performance in the group discussion (GD) (15%) and Personal Interview (PI) (15%).

In case there is a tie in the CUSAT CAT MBA result 2025, the tie-breaking process will prioritise the candidate with higher marks in subjects in the following manner: Mathematics, Physics and then Chemistry. If the tie persists, the total number of correct answers in the same order will be considered.
If it still persists, then the older candidate (based on date of birth) will be given preference. If the tie is still not resolved, then the alphabetical order of the candidate will be considered.
