What to do if I have forgotten CAT user ID and password?

  • Case 1: If a candidate forgets their CAT user ID and password, firstly they should check the received SMS or email after completing the CAT 2024 registration process.

  • Case 2: In case candidates have lost the SMS or email, then they can retrieve the same by following these provided steps.


    • Visit the IIM CAT official website and click on the “Registered candidate login” tab

    • Now click on the “Forgot User ID/ Password” button

    • Enter the registered email address and enter the required captcha

    • Click on “Get user ID/ password”

    • The new CAT user ID and password will be sent to the specified email address

    • Now Sign in again by using the new user ID and password and also keep it safe for future reference

What to do if I have multiple CAT login passwords?

If candidates receive multiple passwords for CAT login, then in such case they should check the most recent SMS received by the CAT authorities and use that password. Still if a candidate is unable to log in, then they can create a new user ID and password by using the “Forgot Password” tab.

What to do if the CAT admit card window is not opening?

If the CAT admit card download window is not opening or loading, then it could be due to a weak internet connection, server issue, cache issue, or outdated browser. Candidates should check and ensure that their internet connection is working well or not or have a good speed. Also, it might be a browser issue, so candidate should switch the same. They should also clear their browser history and cache before starting the download CAT admit card 2024.

What to do if not get the CAT exam admit card in the login?
