Hello,

Your chances of being shortlisted for BITS School of Management (BITSOM) with a 90 percentile in CAT 2024, a 9/9/8 academic profile, and 19 months of work experience in a Private Bank Corporation (PBC) are quite good.

Your profile is competitive, and you stand a good chance of being shortlisted for BITSOM. Focus on crafting a strong application, including your SOP and preparing for the interview.

Hello,

As of now, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not officially announced the specific dates for the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) UG 2025. However, based on previous years' schedules, the CUET UG exam is typically conducted in May. For instance, in 2024, the CUET UG was held from May 15 to May 31.

Regarding the CAT (Common Admission Test), it is usually administered by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in November each year. The exact date for CAT 2025 will be announced later in the year.

Hello,

With a 77.48 percentile in CAT (OBC, non-engineer, fresher) and a strong academic background (777), you can consider the following options:

  • Shambalpur & Vizag Calls : Good options to consider.
  • Kashipur (IIM) : Your BA call indicates decent chances here.
  • Top Private Colleges :
    • SPJIMR, Mumbai (if they accept CAT scores).
    • XIMB, Bhubaneswar .
    • IMT Ghaziabad .
    • FORE School of Management .
    • MICA, Ahmedabad .
  • Other IITs : IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur (check their admission process for non-engineers).

Consider applying to these institutes and check for cutoffs and eligibility.

Hope it helps !

Hello Sachin,

If a notification shows 01 post under EWS category and simultaneously 01 post under PWD (Person with Disabilities) for the same position, it typically means that the single available post falls under both the EWS and PWD categories. Here's the explanation:

  1. Total Vacancy : The total number of posts is 01 , not separate posts for EWS and PWD.

  2. Eligibility :

    • The candidate must fulfill both:

      • EWS (Economically Weaker Section) criteria, and
      • PWD (Person with Disabilities) criteria as specified in the notification.

  3. Implication : Only candidates who fall under both EWS and PWD categories are eligible to apply for this position.

  4. Confirmation : Carefully check the detailed advertisement or notification for specific eligibility conditions and the reservation policy.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
