Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) announced HPCET MBA 2025 result in online mode on June 6, 2025. Earlier, authorities conducted HPCET MBA 2025 exam on May 10, 2025. The registration process for HPCET MBA 2025 was started on January 31 and it was closed on April 23, 2025. Candidates who applied for the HPCET exam would get their admit card in online at himtu.ac.in. Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) is a state-level entrance test conducted by Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU). HPCET MBA Eligibility Criteria 2025
Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) specified the eligibility criteria of HPCET MBA 2025. Prior to filling the application form of HPCET MBA 2025 candidates must adhere to the below-provided eligibility criteria.
- Candidates should have done their graduation with minimum 50% marks in total aggregate. Whereas, candidates belonging to reserved categories need to secure 45% marks.
- Those who are pursuing their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for HPCET MBA 2025. However, their admission will be subjected to provisional admission.

HPCET MBA Result 2025
The result of HPCET MBA 2025 was announced by Himachal Pradesh Technical University on June 6, 2025. While checking the result, candidates had to enter their login credentials. The scorecard of HPCET MBA 2025 displays the overall score.
Procedure to break the tie:
- If two candidates scored the same marks in total aggregate, the participant who scored high in Verbal Ability will be ranked above.
- If marks in the Verbal section are the same then the marks of quantitative ability will be evaluated.
- If the quantitative ability marks are also same then Data Interpretation and Reasoning marks will break the tie.
- If section A, B and C marks are the same, then in such case Business Awareness marks will be evaluated.
- If every section and total aggregate are same, then on the basis of date of birth of candidates will be evaluated and elder one will be given the preference.
HPCET MBA Cutoff 2025
HPCET MBA cutoff is the minimum qualifying score that candidates need to secure to get shortlisted for the counselling and seat allotment process. HPTU will announce the HPCET MBA cutoff after the declaration of the HPCET result.

HPCET MBA 2025 registration has been commenced on January 31, 2025. The last date to submit the HPCET application form for MBA is April 23, 2025. Before filling the HPCET MBA 2025 application form, candidates will have to register to generate login credentials. - Step 3 - Now click on ‘Click here to apply for HPCET MBA 2025’
- Step 4 - Click on the check box which states that the candidate has read the information bulletin
- Step 5 - Now click on “Proceed to apply online”
- Step 6 - Enter all the relevant details
- Step 7 - After entering all the details, click on “Create Account”
- Step 8 - After creating credentials click on ‘login’ tab
- Step 9 - Now re-login by providing credentials

HPCET MBA Exam Pattern 2025
The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) will prescribe the exam pattern of HPCET MBA 2025 which will specify the total number of questions, topics from which questions will be asked and the total time duration. As per last year's exam pattern of HPCET MBA 2025, the entrance exam has a total of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The total time duration for HPCET MBA 2025 will be two hours (120 minutes). Yes with 80 HP CET marks , you surpass typical cutoffs for state - quota entry into JNGEC. You are very likely to obtain a seat in core branches like Civil , Mechanical or Textile, more competitive streams like E&C or AI may require a bit higher score , but admission is still feasible with your JEE percentile backing it up .

It's possible to get a seat in a government college in Himachal Pradesh with 102marks in HPCET. If you belong to a reserved category like SC, ST or other your chances are higher but if you are from General category then scores around 100-120 are considered as competitive in most branches. The specific cut off will vary in each college and branches. The number of seats available in your preferred college will also influence your chances. So check the cut offs of your preferred government college .
