XAT 2025 registration will be closed on November 30, 2024. Candidates can register for XAT 2025 by filling out the online XAT application form and paying the required fee in online mode at xatonline.in. XAT exam 2025 for PGDM/ MBA admission is scheduled to be held on January 5, 2025. This year, XLRI has revised the XAT 2025 exam pattern by reducing the time duration of the XAT 2025 to 3 hours by removing the essay writing section. Also, the authority has increased the XAT 2025 centre. Now, the XAT exam will be conducted in a single session at 109 test centres across India. The XAT exam duration is 3.5 hours, and the mode of XAT 2025 is a computer-based test (CBT).

XAT 2025 Exam: Key Highlights
According to the official notice by XLRI, 34 new XAT 2025 cities have now been added. Earlier, it was 75. The XAT exam 2025 is a national-level entrance exam. Every year, more than 1 lakh candidates apply for the XAT exam. The XAT 2025 score will be accepted by about 1000 B-schools in India for MBA admission at 250+ XAT colleges.
Candidates will be selected for MBA admission in the GD/PI round following XAT 2025. XLRI will conduct the GD/PI round in February/March 2025. Other XAT accepting colleges will conduct admissions in May/June 2025. Scroll down for details on the XAT 2025 entrance exam.

- The authority of the XAT exam increased the XAT 2025 fees to around Rs. 2200.
- Previous year, XLRI shortlist consisted of 2500–3000 students for personal interview round.
- XLRI cutoff GEN of XAT 2025 is expected to be 96%ile and 91%ile for female engineers.
- The XLRI cutoff for XAT 2025 is expected to be 95%ile and 90%ile for male and female non-engineers, respectively.

- A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, with a minimum duration of three years or its equivalent in any discipline.

As per the latest XAT exam pattern, there are a total 4 sections - verbal ability and logical reasoning, decision-making, quantitative aptitude and data interpretation, and general knowledge. XAT 2025 duration will be 3 hours. XAT 2025 question paper is expected to have 95 questions.

The scores will be calculated based on the XAT 2025 marking scheme given below:
- +1 mark for a correct answer
- - 0.25 marks for incorrect answer

To crack XAT 2025 MBA entrance exam, students can follow these preparation tips:
- Prepare a structured study plan for XAT 2025

XAT 2025 Mock Test
XLRI will close the XAT 2025 mock test registration link on October 17. XAT 2025 mock test will be held on October 20. Candidates who completed their application form by October 17 are eligible to participate in the mock test. XAT 2025 aspirants are suggested to take 1-2 XAT mock tests before starting their XAT 2025 preparation to know where they stand. Accordingly, they can prepare a good preparation strategy covering every topic section-wise.
The most important part of XAT 2025 preparation is taking regular XAT 2025 mock tests. XLRI provides an official XAT mock test on its website to familiarize candidates with the question types in the exam. Earlier, the authority conducted the XAT 2025 mock test on September 25.

As per the XAT exam analysis of previous year papers, the XAT 2025 exam is expected to be moderately difficult. The XAT 2025 analysis will be made available after the exam based on the feedback of students and experts. Yes, you can also join IIMs two years after graduation, depending upon the justification in interviews and your performance in entrance exams. If you are not sure about CAT, try those other management exams less hard:
Common Management Admission Test: Easier than CAT; 4-5 months of continuous preparation will suffice.
MAT : Much easier and takes place thrice a year.
SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test): A bit easier than CAT, apt for Symbiosis Institutes.
Xavier Aptitude Test or XAT : Hence, easier than CAT but the unique decision-making section.
Use exams like CMAT and MAT as a challenge to be competitively prepared. This can be given about 4-5 months, along with a few rounds of mock tests and smart studying.

Seeing your marks, it is evident you are good in academics. Thus, you can get into a good MBA college but mind you, it won't be easy because there are thousands of students who are as good as you, if not better. MBA colleges do not choose candidates solely based on academic performance, although it has a big weightage in their selection process. They test your presence of mind, intellect, and communication skills through Group Discussions and Interviews.
