My NMAT score is 171, CAT petcentile is 56. I am trying to go for IBS, Hyderabad or Mumbai. What chance do I stand to get the admission?

Harshita Sharan Srivastava Student Expert 25th Feb, 2020
Hello aspirant,

You have a decent score to get into IBS Hyderabad or Mumbai. However chances of getting into Hyderabad campus is higher.
As per the past records a nmat score of 150+ and cat percentile of 60 is enough to get shortlisted. Further, Students who will be shortlisted will have to appear for the GDPI rounds.

Hi aspirant,
LM Thapar School of Management cutoff varies on the amount of candidates appearing and the level of difficulty of exams each year.LM Thapar School of ManagementNMATCutoff for previous years was above 150 percentile. Every year LM Thapar School of Management NMAT Cutoff stays near to 150.
LM Thapar School of Management CAT previous yeara Cut Offwas around 70-80 percentile. The LM Thapar School of Management CAT cutoff largely depends on the difficulty of the paper.
Hope this helps.

Vaishali Singh 1st Mar, 2020

Hi,

There are many colleges that will accept this score but it depends on what kind od college you want to take or in which city. Also it depends upon the amount you are willing to invest and the return the college gives. Some institutions you might get a call from are Doon business school, VIT, Athena school of business, IES management college, etc.
