Most questions as per AP ICET analysis were from reading comprehension and functional grammar. There were also a pretty good number of vocabulary-based questions. Other topics included business and computer technology, error finding, synonyms, antonyms, etc.
In the AP ICET Analytical ability section, more questions were from problem-solving. There were around 60 questions from problem-solving. The level of difficulty was a bit high in comparison to other sections. Questions were moderate to difficult. The mathematical section was also easy, and most questions were from arithmetic. Other topics from which questions were asked include algebra, geometry, and statistics.
In the Mathematical Ability section, a total of 75 questions will be asked. These questions from Mathematical Ability are time-consuming and not very hard to crack. Pure Mathematics questions are asked in a different form. According to experts overall, the questions asked last year were moderately difficult as compared to slot 2.
There are a few questions that will be solved by direct substitution using the formulae, there are a lot of questions that will be purely based on the application of the concepts rather than direct substitution in the formulae types.
Some of the topics that were asked were Time & Work, Profit & Loss, Algebra, Matrices & Determinants, Trigonometry, Simple and Quadratic Equations Geometry, Sets, Probability, Relations, Functions, Limits, Derivatives, Progression, Binomial & Remainder Theorem.
As per the APICET exam pattern, the total number of questions asked in this section was 75. The analytical Ability section will further be divided into two parts, Data Sufficiency/ Analysis, and Problem-Solving. The expected AP ICET cutoff will depend on various factors such as the difficulty level of the paper, questions diversity, the number of candidates who appear for the AP ICET entrance exam, etc. The difficulty level in the Mathematical Ability and Analytical Ability sections will play a major role in determining the expected cutoff for AP ICET. The expected cutoff for AP ICET 2025 will be released after the release of the APICET results.
On Question asked by student community
If you haven't take any action like reporting or submitting documents in second counselling college you can continue your 1st counseling seat in AP ICET.
Since you don't want the second round seat report to first college to claim your seat.
Good luck..
Hi,
With a general rank of 13,964 and a local rank of 1,529 in bc-d category in au region, your chances of getting a seat in main campus universities like krishna university, acharya nagarjuna university, or adikavi nannaya university depend on the course demand. in 2nd counseling, seats sometimes open up in less-demanded specializations (like certain mba/mca branches), but popular courses may close earlier. i’d recommend filling as many preferred options as possible and also considering affiliated colleges to maximize your chance.

Thanks for asking and good luck in the next round.
Hello,
If your degree college Transfer Certificate (TC) has a clerical mistake in the caste category that the principal manually corrected, with the correction properly signed and stamped, it is usually deemed acceptable for the APICET counselling process, as long as there is no discrepancy between the caste listed on your official caste certificate and what appears on the TC.
Nonetheless, as counseling authorities frequently favor documents that are pristine and devoid of errors, it is highly advised that you have an affidavit detailing the clerical mistake and the rectification done, in addition to your original caste certificate provided by a qualified authority.
Moreover, if feasible, ask your degree college to provide a new corrected TC to prevent any avoidable issues during document verification. Acting in this manner will guarantee a seamless counselling process and reduce the likelihood of document denial.
Hope this helps. All the best!
